    There are fundamentals missing on this team, lineup is super righty heavy, 6 in a row in crazy by anyone's standards, pitchers can get locked in.

    Just like getting a ring, owning a HOF legend is history for that club, he wasn't a complete disaster for us, and if and when he passes Mays, his career will end on a good note. And it will get attention, maybe not as much if he had better years with us but he's still remembered fondly around baseball.

    His milestones are actually a pretty valuable commodity, mostly online merch sales and getting viewers, expanded team history, stadium plaques and other info boards in the tunnels to boot.

    The last time the Angels got a pitcher like Bundy via trade his name was Colon and we were one of the best teams in baseball, we need to build around our new big boy.

    Yeah, I'm starting to see more and more fans fall for our gig though. They're calling us a flaming wad and we'll never win again lol.

    Canning is actually projecting real nicely as being in our rotation next year. We just need one more front line starter and a solid bullpen piece. Hopefully Eppler figures out the lineup issues (currently Pujols, RISP, and potentially some balance issues). Pujols needs to be gone, find a way to get him back to St Louis.

    Maybe if we could get him to hold back on the power a bit, 95-96 on the high end, he could gain more control. He can let loose occasionally against serious hitters. This guy already has the stuff he just needs to put more energy into control.

    I want to thank the San Diego Padres Organization, the coaching staff, my teammates and the fans for all their help and unconditional support. I am very happy for the new opportunity to continue my career with the Angels of Los Angeles.

    This trade was actually incredibly nifty, this guy can be a great late inning guy if he can control his pitches. We haven't had a reliable back end reliever/closer in how long?

    He actually quite small-boned for his height, strong though. He needs a bit more weight or he just needs to practice keeping his feet still, idk why it's an issue all of a sudden. Adell said shortening his swing made a big difference, i think Ohtani should look into that as well.
