  1. The truth usually sucks, the team uniforms are boring, team needs a new look. The organization is underperforming as a whole. We aren't the lovable red and white Anaheim Scioscias anymore.
  2. For the Angels, hindsight is 20/40 Easy pickings I know, it had to be said though.
  3. It helps the Mariners lose more games this season and they get some long term value, they didn't lose on this trade at all.
  4. He (Stripling) gets to enjoy being in a very dark shadow in that rotation, for talk sh** now nobody wants him, at least the Angels fans know his true form.
  5. Good. Fletcher Rendon Trout etc Ohtani can be a great cleanup hitter imo, lefty bat needed slots in perfectly too
  6. So why not flip them? Trout seems to be better without the best possible lineup protection, OBP is a major part of his game.
  7. I'd likely avoid Arte if I was a GM/owner. You don't want to be the one guy that lost in a trade to him, we all know Eppler is not the one calling the shots.
  8. Yeah that's a scenario that could play out, the question is why should we unload the first good pitcher we've seen pitch for us since Ohtani? Should we trade him and help the Dodgers?
  9. Great post, I can't see paragraph two happening for various reasons not excluding team's look at the Angels as an injured or dead animal in the road, they kind of just stay out of our way. We basically need to coddle any arms that show promise and never let go, so far we've got Ohtani and Bundy looking like good future return.
  10. Why force Trout to change his approach? Rendon is more of a pure hitter, Trout is a selective hitter, bat Rendon BEFORE Trout.
  11. I feel like trading Bundy for 'pitching' is going to backfire badly. Dude's our only reliable starting pitcher basically, he has earned his keep as far as I'm concerned.
  12. The Stripling trade...honestly would have made very little difference to this season, it actually gets us a worse draft pick because we would have improved 2-3 wins at least. Stripling is bubble gum when we needed duct tape to seal the hole. I think you know who that duct tape is.
  13. And it looks 10x better with the gold red dark blue and white IMO. Thanks for your input.
  14. Thankfully I am proficient with photo editing, here's what the current Angels hat would looks like with the blue red and white scheme just for kicks:
  15. I have revised my original post to be more digestible and HOPEFULLY more of you will be on my side, there are points that you will have to argue if you want to keep these uniforms.
  16. I would agree if I loved the uniforms, but I don't. There is something left to be desired about the color scheme, like 'we're Angels and will never hurt you'. I want to be the intimidating Angels not the forgiving, kind Angels.
  17. I do, and I know other people care. It's off day, I am trying not to focus on the team as it stands, I was actually able to eat something today.
  18. I feel like they can improve on the red/dark blue 90s design (although the hat <<< is perfect imo), some slight modernization and if Arte can quit being part of L.A. to spite the Dodgers, we'll be back to CA/Anaheim Angels in no time.
