This  winter I sign Trevor Bauer, Liam Hendriks, Tommy Boy and give Simmons a QO.

You cannot put Ohtani as a lock for rotation. His arm issues go back to last year in Japan. If he comes back and pitches great but I do not see that happening. Ohtani has not looked good as a hitter this year so far. I can see halos trying him at 1B or OF as he could be answer for 1 of those positions. Maybe as Yankees did with the Babe,  Ohtani should be position player. 

He will not get a QO not much interest at trade deadline. Angels need to get younger and with covid feel Artie will not be spending.

What if, hindsight, Monday morning QB. We can all look back, let's look forward to signing Joc in off season.

Mayers had 1 bad outing giving 4 ER in less than an inn been outstanding since.

I would hope Albert sits this last month of 2020 and let younger players who are the future play.

I want them to WIN. Like to see Sandoval and Barria continue to improve. Hope to see Barreto play along with young players Thaiss, Ward, Walsh, Rengifo and Adell. I would hope they sit Pujols as young players the future of this organization need to play. Rest Trout, Rendon and Upton every other day as we know what they can do. Use the September games like a Spring training. Hope everyone stays healthy fans and players.

So I just see holes at 1B and possibly RF if Marsh busts. Bullpen will probably be great next year, because that's what bullpens do. Rotation is solid.

Rotation Bundy, Heaney and Canning right now with many ? marks after that. It can be fixed with a Bauer at top of it.

You are right Mayers had 1 bad outing besides that he's been solid.

Do we as Angel fans overrate our players and prospects? Sandoval, Rengifo, Thaiss, Walsh, even Adell and Marsh. This team has zero life in it plays as it's dead. Simmons will be gone unless we give him a QO or extension. Albert will be back as will Upton. We need 2 top of line starters for front of rotation and bullpen needs 5 or 6 new arms. Very frustrating times with a new GM coming in and he will have his work cut out for him.

Lock up Simmons, maybe sign a reliever, and this team is rolling next year.

No-one should be anti-Barria. However for several years now we've known we've needed a 1 and 2 in our rotation. We can't just slot in 7 Barria types and hope Ohtani and Heaney can be aces anymore. 

First do not think Ohtani will pitch next year. We do need an ace maybe Bauer next year, but Barria could be back end rotation type.

Whatever happened to Matt Thaiss? Ohtani working out at 1B>

Unless your trading Adell or Marsh halos do not have players to get impact pitcher.
