    The last thing I’m worried about is getting guys playing time. If Adell is healthy the entire season and only has 200 PAs or whatever at season end, then we can talk. Guys will get injured or struggle, and everyone will get plenty of playing time.

    The org seems to be really high on Sam Brown. Didn’t play any games after getting drafted last year, got a fair number of games in Spring Training, and now is in AA hitting cleanup. Kinda reminds me of Tucker Flint, but even he played some A ball the season prior.

    We’ll see how things evolve the next couple months, but right now it seems like the Angels are positioned to land one of the following players: Charlie Condon (OF) Travis Bazzana (2B) JJ Wetherholt (2B) Tanner Burns (RHP) Hagen Smith (LHP) Braden Montgomery (OF) Jac Caglianone (1B/LHP) Nick Kurtz (1B) I’d be ecstatic to land any of them, as we sit here today.

    Placencia getting demoted is weird. He was almost league average by wRC+ in HiA. Makes me wonder if it’s some sort of disciplinary thing? Or if he really regressed during the offseason or something?

    That's nice to hear. I've said in the past that all that matters about the off-field stuff is how his teammates perceive him. If his teammates like him and he isn't bothering any of them, then the opinions of others (fans, media, etc) don't matter.

    If Bazzana keeps hitting like he does, he’ll be off the board long before the Angels pick.

    Interesting. I know they announced in the offseason that they were gonna make $5M in stadium upgrades.

    We already know, based on reports/IG, that Rada and Dana will both be in AA. Mederos, Kochanowicz, Paris, and Joyce will be there. Could see Placencia, Sanchez, Minacci, Hurtado, Ureña, and others there potentially.

    The Angels don’t seem to be using Thaiss’ versatility anymore though. Having said that, I’d be surprised if the A’s didn’t claim Bart so it’s probably moot. I suppose they could try and jump the waiver process and trade for him, but that’s unlikely.

    He has a ton of family at the game and I believe a portion of them went to Baltimore as well. Might be over amped/trying to do too much.
