  1. Some great performances today! Simba, EY, Cowart, Briceno, Bedrock, and even Robles today all looking good
  2. In 2 decades of watching baseball that might be the worst call Ive ever seen. A runner called out for running in the basepath. I think that sums up our season.
  3. Why did we change it so that halfway up the wall is a HR? Was it an mlb thing or did we make that decision as a team? Because the indians left field wall is like the same thing as what we had before. Forgive me if this has been discussed.
  4. I thought the throw could have been better but imo it was more on Bird for not digging it. That was a pretty standard play for a ML first baseman, one that I think even marte/valbuena would have made.
  5. Could not have been more down the middle... like dude you throw 93 not 100, that's not gonna work at this level.
  6. Went to school with shane and played little league with him, he's a great dude. Will be pulling for him today.
  7. Just wait till 2 or 3 years from now when you're complaining about Uptons contract
  8. I agree. Maybe we could bundle him with some other fringe prospects and get atleast an average player in return.
  9. But how are his bat flips? I would assume he's still flipping at just an A+ level maybe AA at best
  10. Grandal just hit a 10th inning walkoff, his 2nd dinger of the game. We might need to start a gofundme....
  11. He provides bat flips (regardless of the outcome of the ab)
  12. wtf did kole just decide he was the best player in baseball... this is getting unreasonable
  13. At least we can look forward to Arcia.... and maybe Valbuena bat flips a walk or a line out and we can all get some much needed comedic relief
  14. For me it's the dodgers and there isn't a close second. If I had to choose an AL west team I'd probably say the Rangers. I respect the Astros for rebuilding through their farm to go from maybe the worst team in baseball to WS champs in like what, 5 years? I live in the east bay now and all the A's fans are just the people who didn't hop on the Giants bandwagon (which is pretty annoying fan base) and are pretty intelligent baseball fans. I love seattle as a city and have some close friends that are mariners fans so I can swallow a little pride when they do well too.
  15. To rank priorities: 1st - Has to be a closer, Kimbrel/Herrera 2nd - Obviously need a catcher after the maldo trade, Grandal/Maldonado 3rd - Bit of a luxury but definitely could use another starter, Corbin or someone cheaper. With Koles resurgence I think you leave the OF as is and don't risk blocking Adell's path. I think we are fine on the IF especially with the flexibility of Fletcher and Cozart. If any of Rengifo, Ward, or Thaiss show that they are MLB talent I see no need to sign another IF.
  16. I agree, I wouldn't want to see anything over 4 or 5 years but he just turned 30 so I think he'd still be a top guy at least for the end of trout's contract. That said I think I'd still prefer herrera. Either way I just want us to sign a top caliber guy with closer pedigree.
