    I just made a similar post in another thread. The gist is that it just doesn't make sense for the Halos to sign him at that price, but it does for an organization like the Dodgers to some degree.

    I think there is a big difference between the Angels offering 700m and the Dodgers..it works for the Dodgers and it doesn't work for the Halos. Two completely different organizations at opposite spectrum's of their franchises. One is floundering, while the other is flourishing.

    I took a train across country to Tempe for Spring training when they signed Pujols...so Pujols! Edit: I actually took the train to Reno to visit moms and then drove to Tempe. Great trip!
