  1. Honesty, I would have gone with; Adell Rf Schanhel 1b Trout Cf Sano 3b Ward Dh Ohoppe C Moniak Lf Rengifo 2b Neto Ss
  2. Then it is a good thing that the first top 8 picks fit the mold! They all have high potential and upside! It's not like Perry has had bad picks. 2021 He selected Bachman, which was an un-slot pick and at that time he two plus pitches and the best change with a big upside. He's just been hurt. Heck Leiter was considered the best Pitching prospect in that darft, and he looks like a bust. 2022 was Neto, who was considered the best college bat at that time. I would say it still a pretty solid pick and Neto is could reach that ceiling. Now the question is, are these guys getting rushed to quickly? I would say yes, and it I thinks it one of the thing that may need to be looked at or changed
  3. Adell at this point has won the right field job. Heck with Rendon out for the time being, I may try him at lead-off and bring everyone down a spot. my lineup would be Adell rf Nolan 1b Trout cf Ward lf Rengifo 2b Sano 3b Drury/moniak Dh Ohoppe C Neto ss
  4. Honesty I was confused aswell. It did not make sense to me. Maybe Drury wasn't available?
  5. Really need Nolan to start hitting, past few starts have been a postive sign. while the rest of the guys needs to breakout of the slum! Detmers need to be on his A game.
  6. it's going to be his ability to control/command the strike zone. If he's going to be walking 3 to 5 guys per start, its going to be a struggle. The stuff is still good, actually looks better than last year. The command/control not so much. Personally I think he just needs to slow down. take a breath, pause beacuase it looks to me like he starts to rush and be out of sync with his mechanics. Both Canning and him this is going to be a prove it type of year.
  7. Ideally I would say that the goal for Dana should be to reach AAA with around 100 to 120 innins pitched. 80 innings at AA 20-30 innings at AAA.
  8. Pros: 1. Detmers and Soriano, both have been had a nice little start to the season. Both showing front of the line potential. 2. Anderson, he having nice little turn-around. 3. Trout, Ward, O'hoppe and Sano Con's 1. Sandoval and Canning, Kindly put they've both have been garbage. They need to be better 2. Middle innings Bullpen 3. Neto, and Nolan
  9. Pro: Soriano is looking like a guy with front of the line potential Arm! the split he threw this inning, was a plus pitch. Main thing is command and to continue learning. Con: The offense is and has been struggling.
  10. He's one of the guys in the system that I am keeping an eye on. He doesn't have the star potential that or high upside, but I think his tools across the board are at least 50 grade. The biggest think for him will be the K rate and see if he can keep under 25%
  11. At this point I think we've gotten a good idea of the offense; 1. Sano, has shown he deserves the starting DH role and hitting in the middle of the line-up. ideally 5th or 6th 2. Hicks, not so much. Out of Moniak, Adell and Hicks, Adell deserves to get most of the time with what he brings and ability to do alot more on the bases. I think Moniak can still get his bats split between the 3 spots and DH. While Hicks is just wasting a roster spot. Ideally they play about 5 games per week; lets Say Adell starts 3, and Moniak starts the other 2 in RF, and than in the other 2 games Trout and Ward could DH. 3. I'd Move Drury Up to the 3-hole, followed by Ward, Sano and Drury. At the moment I see this team being 81-81
  12. Honesty I really don't know how this draft will work out, it pretty deep in the top 10 that you can say each guy has the upside to go 1. I looked at the teams, and It'll be interesting to see what each does, but I made my own mock draft; 1. Guardians--> JJ Wetherholt, I would not be surprised if the guardians select JJ and try to go under-slot with the first pick. I've heard rumors that this may happen with JJ due to the time he's missed. 2. Reds--> Smith, The have a really good group of young position players, and seem to being be moving away from rebuilding. I think Smith is a perfect pick here for them due to there need of pitching. 3. Rockies--> Kurtz falls here and probably is the perfect spot. Rockies need have a solid group of young outfield talent in their system, however they lack a true 1st basemsn. which Kurtz would fulfil for them. 4. Oakland--> Charlie Condon would be a big pick for them 5. White Sox--> Travis bazzana 6. Royals, Seaver King, This is another surprise pick but I think it's solid pick for the Royals with a mind set of going under-slot. They already have Witt at SS, but the addition of King would give them a solid up the middle combo and a solid 1,2 punch in the line-up 7. St Louis--> Burns, St Louis is in a limbo and a team with a major need for pitching. At the pick, the hope is the Burns get to the MLB by next year and he has the stuff to do so. While also providing them with a solid 1,2 combo at the top of the rotation. 8. Angels--> Montgomery, Still think this is the best pick here. he has the potential to be a 5-tool player. 9. Pirates--> Jac Cagiianone 10. White Sox--> Konnor Griffin, White Sox are in a clear rebuild, this takes a hs guy with big upside.
  13. Honesty the Thaiss and Wilson draft were done under Eppler, and in both draft he decided to go under-slot for that first pick. 2016 the year Thaiss was drafted, We also drafted; Marsh--> traded for O'hoppe, could say that Marsh was our best pick of the Draft. C-Rod--> High Upside, just can't stay healthy Williams and Duensing--> both were wildcard and unfortunately were busts 2019 was Wilson, and honesty it's has been a crap draft for us. Most notable picks are; Paris, Kochanowicz, Davis Daniels, Crow, and Stalling 2015 was the year Dipoto quit, Don't remember who the Gm was at the time; Most noticeable picks were; Ward, Jones, Fletcher, Long (got hurt) and Walsh Looking back 2015 turned out to be a nice little draft!
