  1. So, your just going to ignore the fact that he was a starter the previous few seasons? He's 26, there no reason to keep him in the minors. Give him a shot and see what he can do!
  2. DFA Suraez and Cisnero Call up Garret and Erla Thaiss needs to play more against righties, while splitting time between 1st/Dh/c Put Sano on the Il. it's not going to be a quick fix. Rendon to the 60 day il bring up Wallace as back-up Catcher. give trout a day off Move Adell to the lead-off spot and rengifo to the 3-hole.
  3. I have been saying this, but put Adell in the lead-off! let him run and hot for power! Rengifo in the 3-hole! he's going to hot for power, get on base and get some hits! Trout at the 2-hole and hope he figures something out. this has been a pretty bad slumb!
  4. Probably won't see Rendon back at least until or after the All-star break. Kinda of crazy he goes down and the offense just falls apart. With the Depth that we have in the minors, I would not mind signing Segura to a milb deal and give him 2 to 3 weeks to see what he can do.
  5. Has Anyone watched Rangel pitch this year? he's having quite a solid year at AA, with solid strike-out rates! He's 26 but I could see him taking over Suarez role or be an arm in the BP. Also that AA Bp has been locked down! multiple guys with ERA's around 0. Erla, Darrel-Hicks and Armstrong showing much improved control. Could see some help coming up soon.
  6. The Twins' offense has been struggling with offspeed pitches this year. We need to capitalize on this!
  7. Well, that's ridiculous. No wonder there's an increase in injuries with these stupid limitations and overworking of pitchers.
  8. I thought he should have gone with Fulmer hoping he could pitch the rest of the game or at least 2 innings. But here's the question: Is Hicks worth a roster spot, or would you prefer using his spot for another bullpen arm, especially since we already have 4 outfielders? Both Suarez and Hicks are just wasting roster spots.
  9. 1. he is out of shape, and fat. 2. his stuff has regressed, he's lost close to 2 MPH on his fastball, his chnage-up used be great, and is garbage now, both his fastball and changes are meatballs. thus, he sucks. 3. He is fat! did I mention this? but he's fat. heck Barria would have probably been better.
  10. We can clearly see the work Jo Adell has put in and is been making some impressive at bats. A more compact swing and improved contact rates are promising signs of development. If he can maintain a strikeout rate in the 20 to 25% range while increasing his walks, that could greatly enhance his value as a hitter. I would say placing him in the lead-off spot seems like a strategic move, especially with his combination of speed and power. It could give your team an early offensive boost and set the tone for the rest of the lineup, similar to trout. 1. Adell Rf (let him run! similar to an Acuna mold of role, with out the star power 2. Rendon 3b. With Rendon ability to control his at-bats, make contact, Wash can do so much with him and Adell 3. Trout Cf, I'd keep Trout in the 3-hole. He's in a really bad slump. 4. Ward Lf, big run producer 5. O'hoppe C, perfect spot for him 6. Sano DH 7. Schaneul 1b, He starting to finally hit again, not really seeing the power that I hoped, but he still showing a good eye and hitting the ball 8. Drury 9. Neto
  11. Did I mention a desire for Hicks to see more playing time? No, what I actually proposed is to give Moniak the opportunity down in the minors.
  12. Does Moniak have options remaining? he may need to clear up his head and get some bats down there
