lol.
when he drops that amber alerts annoy him it was like someone dropped a bomb.
I forgot about that.
I am still batting 1.000 on the So Cal Amber Alert threads though. There hasn't been one Amber Alert yet on any angelswin board that wasn't some messy custody dispute between white trash* (or latino or black) "parents" or family members.
*actually none of them have been white in SoCal.

Yk's original Amber Alert thread. That was when yk was kind of the board's villian. He wasn't really well liked back then and he took a lot of heat for that thread.
lol
Every time I see writing on the freeway message signs, I keep hoping its an amber alert to inaugurate this new board. Instead, it's always "Click it or Ticket" or "Motorcyclists own the road too"

Going WAAAYYY back, Chad (SAAngels) thread about his name change protest was awesome. For those who weren't around 10 years ago, he and a couple of his friends stood on a street corner near the stadium. The protest didn't exactly change Arte's mind.
LTH's homoerotic post about him and his man date popping open a bottle of Champagne at Coit tower up in SF to celebrate the 2004 division championship was unforgettable.
I had forgotten Matt Afleck's name.

That was really really well done.
lol - Farha never got over the bluff Moneymaker made.

Since I was the pretty much the driving force of this one, I'll pick the lady complaining about the Victoria's Secret poster at the mall.
I remember that one. Pretty funny.

one of my favorites was when lifetime was trying to convince all of us that golfers only hit on the upswing.
Get out.

I'd go with the crying poker player. Don't even remember his name. I know that thread (and ensuing ones) pissed off a lot of people, but man, did I laugh for days.
List yours.

God forbid these precious snowflakes receive some criticism from the boss.

Some fans get too into these guys. They follow them on twitter, get their autographs, wear their jerseys, and I think they think they are part of the player's families.

Disagree, Katie. Kendrys should have had a big ovation especially with the last year he had with us.
I am an angels fan. I don't give a sh*t about players and how many All Star teams they were on with the Rangers or St. Louis (stupid billboard) and I don't really care about them once they leave.

How's his bunting? [/scioscia]

I was listening to the P90x play by play guy on the radio a couple weeks ago, and he said a ML scout told him that Hamilton was just about to turn a corner and lock in, so I am feeling pretty good about him.

Remember this shirt? Good times...

I have a challenge for Mike Scioscia.
Let the team manage itself for a few games and see if they win. Have Butcher inform the starter of his pitch counts with the condition they can't exceed 110 pitches. Tell the bullpen to watch the game closely and come up with their own plan for bailing out the starter. Cut out the ridiculous sacrifice bunting and leave it up to the players if they will steal bases or not. At the least, it would be a fun morale booster and the results couldn't be any worse.
More importantly though, it would help players see each other's strengths and weaknesses more clearly without an overbearing manager trying to "fix" things. I think this would fire guys up to fill the voids left by others if they could see those problems for what they really are.
This is how a team is supposed to work.
What about all those signs he gives before every pitch? How could the team even operate without those?

love these

Can you explain how you can guarantee that the Dodgers would win a WS with Scioscia managing? I'd love to hear how.
If the Angels let Scioscia go, he will be hired by the Dodgers the same day. And..the Dodgers would win a WS with Scioscia as manager guaranteed and that would then make the Angels permenantly irrelevant in the LA market. -
The emperor has no clothes. Let him go. Let him be some other teams' Runnyball albatross. I'm tired of the braindead baserunning and fielding.

CM wouldn' even have entered the poker stars tourney if he knew the winning prize was entry into the WSOP. He needed cash, not entry to some tourney.
Great stuff.
