Funny, a week ago - the AW faithful were panicking that the Angels would have to replace their whole rotation.

First of all, let's not pretend like most of the AW faithful (sorry if that phrase annoys you) have some special insights into prospects... most of the people on this board base their opinions on prospects by what they read the people who actually evaluate talent say... and some of those have been saying good things about CR for a while. I doubt most (not all) had even seen CR pitch prior to his recent outing, but love to pretend like they knew how good his stuff was, etc. I'm not doubting his talent. I just find it funny that the AW faithful (hey, there it is again) already have him in the bullpen or somewhere on the 25 man roster in 2021. The moment a prospects shows any glimmer of talent - people here go nuts and want them on the major league roster pronto. CR struck out two batters and some people are going ape shit. Blake Parker struck out 17 consecutive guys one spring training. It's frickin' spring training! I don't understand the rush to anoint someone Cy Young so quickly. It's just an opinion or rather my observation. The AW faithful (oh boy, 3 times now) do this all the time... It's funny to me. Lou got my point... you obviously didn't.
