  1. Well, do whatever you think is best then. But I think there is a big difference between making constructive arguments and making a lot of jackass comments.
  2. You misunderstood the point of my post. I don't have anything negative to say towards the way you post. You are taking my post a little too personally. Actually a lot too personally, since my post was really geared towards Ender and others of his ilk.
  3. The statement is right, but for the wrong reasons. It's not because of 2002 or the playoffs. It's because this is an Angels message board. The moment a person comes here as a fan of another team to talk trash, they have lost. Even if the Mariners win 5 world series in a row, their fans lose if they come here and talk about anything non-constructive. This isn't a general MLB board, the site is not someonewins.com. People should show a little class instead of being full out douchebags.
  4. Let's count them as....3/5ths of a hit? I recall something similar working well in the past. Didn't cause any hard feelings.
  5. I watch a large amount of AL West games (except Oakland because...well, you know...Oakland...) and Desmond looks like he's on a mission. Very unlikely the Rangers will want to pay what he'll demand but someone will. Assuming he keeps it up, of course.
  6. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leaders/GIDP_career.shtml What a bunch of losers
  7. If I were a Mariners fan, I'd be more worried about the Mariners.
  8. I just finished watching the end of that game on mlb.tv. Saying they failed to score with 1st & 3rd with no outs doesn't give justice to that train-wreck. I have no idea what went through Seager's head, but it was definitely the wrong thing. Not often you get to see a game end on two reviews in the same play.
  9. It was because Escobar pointed at the plate. You could even read his lips when Scioscia came out where he said "He showed me up". Seemed pretty quick to me, though. It's not like that time Ichiro took his bat and drew a line where the ball crossed
  10. Leonys Martin had an OPS in the low .600s less than two weeks ago. I'd give him a bit longer to prove it before singing his praises too loudly.
