    The weather forecast calls for rain until Monday. When was the last time the Angels were rained out 2 days in a row? We could be rained 4 days in a row, the entire Texas series.

    Skaggs is on a minor league team. He is not on the DL. He basically just get some more starts before retuning to the rotation.

    Tanaka looked good yesterday and he avoided TJ. If the ligament isn't torn then I would just wait. You can't reattach something that isn't unattached.

    That's the original diagnosis Skaggs got when he ended up having to get a Tommy John. Hope Heaney is not that severe. Is that what was said about Tanaka when he went on the DL?

    Weaver says he hit 86 mph a few times in his minor league start. If he can hit 86, he should able to hit 87. If he can hit 87 he should be able to hit 88 and so on. He should be able to hit 95mph.

    Unfortunately we could have let Weaver continue to be the season opening pitcher and not have been any worse of than we are now. Even better because Richards could have pitched tomorrow against a lesser pitcher. I wonder why we don't put our worst pitcher against the opponents best pitcher anyway. We have a good chance we will lose anyway, and we could use our best pitcher against one of their worst starters instead. Just a thought.

    I am running MLB.TV on my desktop wired to router and using a HDMI to my big screen. It works great for an inning or 2 and then it freezes and on and off for an inning.

    Texas did less than us. I heard their announcer say they have the exact same team as last year except for their LFer and Darvish is returning from his TJ.

    We finished 1 game short of the playoffs, 3 games behind Texas and I just heard Texas is the exact same team as last year with the exception of 1 player, besides Darvish returning from TJ. I think we have a good chance this season if for no other reason than Joyce is gone.
