Should Luke Heimlich be Signed by an Organization?
Roy Hobbs replied to m0nkey's topic in LA Angels | MLB Daily
You are so wrong, this is where being 15 comes into play.He was charged as a juvenile and his records were sealed. He would not have been any more jail time after turning 18.He fucked up and didn't report a change of address to his probation office. He violated his probation that is why the news came out,Don't give me this bullshit he was facing years of adult jail, that is just not true. His own brother said he thinks he did it.You say you have zero tolerance, seems like you don't if he is this guy.He is CONVICTED plain and simple.I'm sorry you think I'm all high and mighty because I believe in the courts decision. You need to read what he had to do just to get this plea, his statement to the court. -

Yes, I read the story and have a while, did you read the part where the girl was 6 years old. I want to know why being 15 gives you a pass to do any thing you want.No team in their right mind will sign a convicted sex offender. -

15 is no excuse, do not admit to molesting a child if you did not do it.When I was 15 I know I would NEVER admit to something like that.In your case they threw it out,in his case he pled guilty, what is so hard to understand.I'm not saying he did ,HE is by pleading guilty -

He is not being punished forever, he can go do anything he wants. He lost any choice in some matters when he decided to molest his brothers daughter. I don't care what kind of legal advice he got he still pled guilty, would any of you plead guilty to sexual assault on a child if you didn't do it.There's no way in hell I would. The victim in this case is being punished for the rest of her life, does that not matter to you guys who say he shouldn't be punished for the rest of his life. How would you feel if it was YOUR daughter, niece or granddaughter, might be a different story.Just my opinion. -
As it turns out, Stoneman was the genius, not Scioscia

Jim Mora once said "You think you know, but you don't know", kinda like the rest of us -
I think it was Ron Hassey,I know he caught Dennis Martinez's perfect game.I was lucky enough to see that game and the best part of it was it was against the Dodgers.

Well I'm glad you guys didn't think I was Bob -
I was scolded for using too many down votes, after that I didn't use them anymore.I also wasn't down voting everyone just a few choice individuals, and I did use them too much that night. It may have whiskey induced.I kind of feel honored that you guys think I'm some long time poster. The truth is like I said before, I've been an Angel fan for 55+ years and been reading this site since 2004.I would be happy to be called a super fan, I had season tickets for over 35 years and I watch almost every single game.

You are right about investing a lot of money in the bullpen being risky.I was just reading about the Rockies bullpen and how they invested a 106 million in three players.Their bullpen has given up 60 runs in 18 days.I think all it shows is there is no right way to do it.It comes down to having the right players and those players playing up to their capabilities no matter how much they make.I do know that this bullpen is unbelievably bad and it is so disheartening when the bullpen comes in.I have no idea what they can do about it.

It must be hell to be you,to hate a team that you are supposedly a fan of.You never let an opportunity pass to say something negative about the Angels.I hope you enjoy being a bitter little man. -
All I see is Boston and New England shit in that picture. What kind of Angel fan does that. You can never trust a guy named Dick.
