What a stupid, stupid move. The Lakers work so hard to have a big cap space next year and then all the sudden say 'hey what the hell, lets sign a aging player to the highest paid contract in the league.' From what I have read, Kobe (old for a player and still haven't played after a major injury) and Nash (another old-as-dirt and injured player) will take care of 56% of all the cap space next year.
What a joke. No other team would or could sign Kobe anything close to the Lakers did today. They are very much limited now next summer and the year after that as well. Just a stupid move for the Lakers
