  1. Cowart's played more games at SS this year than any year previously. Adding that to his repertoire has actually paid off with this call up. Obviously they have Cozart play there, but how has Cowart looked at SS if he need to back him up?
  2. Trending up! Wonder where he'll be come end of the season March .267 .267 .600 .867 April .295 .427 .636 1.064 May .313 .480 .698 1.178 June .450 .476 .750 1.226
  3. That'll teach Marte to have a good game! *yeah I know, Valbuena is a lefty etc. etc.
  4. Was there ever any statement made regarding Ward moving to 3B? Was he just not cutting it at C or was there another reason?
  5. While his prowess in the field has long been his calling card I was pleasantly surprised by the numbers he's putting up with the bat. I knew he was going well but I didn't know just HOW well. Leading the league in AB per SO too. Where do you think he'll end up numbers wise at the end of the year?
  6. Has anything been said about Thaiss working on any non 1B positions? I seem to recall when he first moved from C to 1B it was said it was seen as his fastest path, but with his arm he could get some time at 3B or OF at some stage. Am I just imagining that?
  7. I'm intrigued by Fernandez. Didn't start with the Angels so could turn out to be a sneaky steal! Would love to see him called up with Kinsler & Valbuena booted. If he can stick that's be great. If not there no harm done and no real investment
  8. How has Jahmai Jones looked since switching to 2B? Is the switch going to stick?
  9. Or Blash, Hermosillo & Liriano (all with better OPS that EYJ and Revere with the Bees)
  10. Give Kole and Kinsler a short leash and if they don't improve soon I'd like to see: 1) Simmons 2) Trout 3) Ohtani 4) Upton 5) Pujols 6) Cozart 7) Blash / EYJ (while Kole sorts himself out in AAA) 8 ) J. Fernández / Fletcher (bye Ian ?) 9) Rivera / Maldonado
  11. I know that the environment is typically very hitter friendly but it is great to see just how good the Bees batting has been. A bunch of guys there to give some of the struggling current roster reasons to watch their backs
  12. Carter has more experience in the outfield in the majors than Marte, before he took over 1B at Houston
