    The Bourjos for Freese part is whatever, would have been fine with that. The Grichuk for Salas part makes absolutely no sense, especially when the Angels take on salary in the deal. I really don't know how you justify that.

    I have been as big a DiPoto fan as anyone, but I'm not less confident in his ability to turn this team around then I ever have been. Whatever Bourjos' perceived value is, it makes no sense to trade him and further deplete an already barren farm system for what they got in return. I guess when you demand that you win now at all costs, this is what you get. Could be a downright frightening offseason.
