Not sure what this is about but i was referring to the old commercial with Glavine and Maddux that basically foreshadowed where the game is today resulting in mlb now complaining about the length of games.
Why does everything have to be part of some damned agenda?I know. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your comment.
I wasn't being mean just trying to be humorous.

MLB: Chicks dig the long ball..
Also MLB: Games are too longYeah they get the chick all hot and bothered, then you have to wait 3 hours before doing anything about it...
Its like the female guppy likes her male with all kinds of pretty colors, the flashier the better. Do you know what happens to the flashier colored male guppy? He gets eaten by a bigger fish. To survive the male has to be as drab as possible.
Males can't win in this world.

Honestly, if La Stella was playing (and especially if he was starting) I would be watching it.
Other than that, probably not.

In 159 games (to date) with his current swing:
.291 .361 .914 OPS 32 HR 94 RBI
If anything from his previous swing was changed, there was a reason.
I also remember you lamenting a month ago how he "just doesn't look like he has the same swing" and he proceeded to go on a tear.
Might want to leave this one the professionals.
Could this have something to do with park factors. He seems to hit more toward center as an Angel.

I have to stop at a friend's house now to deliver something. His 10-yr old son is a huge Angels fan. I will not mention this. I can't bear to.
That is best.
My wife called me and told me and I'm not handling it well.
And I'm a old man.

It's a 40 man roster problem. They are past the amount of players that can be on the 40 man roster, moving players to the minor leagues doesn't change that.
But Barria, Cahill, and Jewel are all on the 40 man roster. It's the fact that Tovar doesn't have options.
I'll admit I might be brain dead.

They have 10 days, right? Can they put him back on the 25 man roster and sent Rengifo down when Simmons comes back?

Do you think that velocity has a lot to do with starting pitching problems? I remember watching baseball as a kid there were several ground ball pitchers as starters. They would go 7 or 8 innings and turn over the ball to some reliever throwing 95+ MPH.
It wasn't sexy, but it got the job done.
Now it seems like everyone is a strikeout pitcher and goes 5 innings.

Am I the only one that hopes she loses a step or two when the water cooler bath is coming for the player she's interviewing?
Oh and I'm happy she's getting chances to further her career.

Not sure why anyone thinks Servais will be fired .... it's not his fault the players suck.
The front office said this year would be a step back! I don't understand why people are surprised the Mariners suck.
They went into this season with a shitty pitching staff and NO bullpen at all. No one knew the defense would be so bad, but real Mariner fans knew the team would suck.
We've all seen several good managers canned because of a "change in direction."
Of course that being said I see Servais staying on, at least until the Mariners start winning again.

I have never understood how Arty the marketing genius who wanted to expand his Fanbase could change the name from California to Anaheim/ los Angeles.
Yeah, that should do the trick
California Angels, always and forever!
Anaheim was a Disney thing. They weren't really branding the Angels, they were branding the people trap that was down the road.

Make sure to do the Google search as well. You can vote 1X per player... 17 total. Per day.

All the time. I usually confront people at gas stations and ask "WTF you doin' wit dat Angels hat on bro?!!!" and then I get really close to their face.
I do the same, but I shorten the sentence a little:
"Cool hat!"

Since he had similar numbers this year, how can anyone tell if he's hurt?
Or he just sucks???

Albert is Albert. We'll get what we can from him, all of us knows it was a gamble from the beginning, and he wouldn't be close to worth his contract at the end.
Honestly I'm pleased with his play this year, hopefully he can keep it up.
