Would have Dipoto trade Bourjous for good pitching? For sure. The problem is this organization doesn't have an eye for good pitching or good prospects hence why our pitching has been awful the last few of seasons and all of our best prospects are now gone and tearing it up else ware. I wouldn't put it past other organizations that they are keen to the Angels management blunders and jump on the chance to snatch up our prospects at any time.

Who cares if he was out by a mile. If the coach says you run everything out, you do it. It's like the highway being completely empty so you speed. Are you going to hit anyone? No. Will you get a ticket if you get caught? yes. I don't agree with the rule but if the man in charge tells you to do it, you can't complain if you get punished for breaking said rule.

I dont agree with some of these stats. Well not really the stats themselves but rather what the represent. Some stolen bases and such have to be put on the pitcher also. For example, if a runner takes off before the pitcher star goes to the plate, the chance of a catcher catching the base runner goes down. And, if the pitcher tosses a dime to the next batter and he crushes it, all of a sudden one of the runs gets put on the catcher for not throwing out the base runner. I'm not saying Ianetta is great catcher by any means, I'm just saying calculating stats the these are difficult to do and may not always reflect the true story.

I blame Dipoto for this huge mess. The Angels had the best hitting in baseball last year but some of the worst pitching. How does Dipoto fix the problem? Sign another big bat and even worse pitchers. You can't fix pitching with hitting.
