  1. I support Hasselman being moved anywhere because he’s the worst 3rd base coach I’ve ever seen.
  2. God bless the Stassi family.
  3. Someday Taylor wants to have a boy, and have that boy grow up to dominate women’s sports.
  4. Not even close. The middle management is strong with this one.
  5. Ooh the man bun beta is getting pissed now!!!! Don’t offend his prog sensibilities, the horns will come out despite however many hormone blockers he’s taking…
  6. Lol. Gaylor pops up to chime in with his/her ignorant feminine idiocy once again. Maybe you could apply to be the first female manager?
  7. The Giants already had the closest thing to a female manager yet, Gabe Kapler. Might as well go all the way.
  8. Do Stradling and Chuckster think it’d be a good idea if the Angels hired a female manager?
  9. Baseball can be a cruel bitch. Hopefully Shohei was watching closely.
  10. Yordan with a two run bomb just now. What’s interesting is the pitch before was a fastball knee high that the catcher lazily caught and let his glove fall not even attempting to get the strike call for his pitcher. Next pitch hit out. If he got that strike, it likely changes what and how he throws the next pitch. In baseball, details matter, and winning baseball is found in the small things.
  11. I used to think this was Nevins wife…. this might actually be Phil Nevin. Hi Phil!
  12. They have autopsies every year, nothing changes. It doesn’t sound like anyone has learned a thing. Will they get lucky one year and have all their short term older signees put up decent years and compete like the Giants a couple years ago? Maybe. But much more likely not. No long term plan for sustainable success. Just more insanity doing the same thing over and over and hoping for different results.
  13. I think it best for all parties involved for the team to try really hard to make this happen assuming we don’t get fleeced.
  14. Is there a precedent for any other team doing this? Maybe there is and I’m just not aware? I mean already with there being multiple pitching coaches and hitting coaches it seems there should be enough bodies in there to help, guess not.
  15. You make some points I agree with, however a hitting coaches playing career often has little to do with how his team hits. If that were the case, Ted Williams and Barry Bonds would’ve made great hitting coaches, they didn’t. From my perspective, with no direct knowledge whatsoever, just many years involved in baseball, the Angels look like a team who’s become over reliant on data to the point the players think like robots, instead of athletes. They’ve lost the feel for how the game needs to be played, and it shows up in every aspect.
  16. Might be. It’s a sign that big changes could be coming in the offseason, again.
  17. Hell add GA while we’re at it. I’ve liked what I’ve heard from him when he’s discussed what’s important in a clubhouse. And he doesn’t think kissing players ass is the answer.
