I would'nt consider him "great". But I do think he represented himself and the org extremely well. That's what I miss most. He was articulate, intelligent and had a confidence about himself that I feel people couldn't help but want to interact with him, hence the fluid relationships he had with other GM's. These are attributes this org did not have before. IMHO.

Cez, re: Chevelle, they're a little bass heavy and a little melodic. Pretty decent lyricly. Influenced it seems by bands such as Tool, and possibly Korn. Solid band imo.

Tool scared the shit out of me in the 90"s. Had lots of friends who loved them,but they just didn't impress me at all. When Laterals came out in 2000, I had a buddy who forced me to listen to that album from begining to end and it literally changed my appreciation for music altogether. You may, or may not like them, but you can't deny that Laterals may be the cleanest, and most slickest produced albums ever recorded. Every sound was just sonic perfection.

The term "impact bat" doesn't hold nearly the same meaning as it once did. Offensive firepower just isn't as abundant anymore, imo. And with all the brilliant minds in baseball, you're lucky to find anyone "undervalued" anymore.

That "stare" we saw last night tells me that this dude is' nt gonna just flame out without a fight. This guy has the heart of a lion and the tenacity of a bulldog. Total respect for him as a person, and player. I believe he'lol do whatever it takes to be successful and fulfill his contract.

From time to time my kids will miss school due to a necessary med appt. In the case of the 2 weeks of missed school, it was for reasons that far out benefit them more so than what 16 step division problem being taught that particular week.

My kids missed a week of school twice this year and I"m receiving letters about a hearing. What's the deal with these? They have all been excused absences.
