    UPDATE!

The mound has been added to the field. All of the logo wrapping is in the process of being removed. What's interesting is the names that used to be on the each pillar.

The A's on the Big Red Hats are back, and they are bigger and brighter than ever!

The new press box is almost complete. They were in the middle of working on that, so no pics as of now.

Many of the new sponsors have been set in place, but not yet annoucned.

Just under a month until opening day and things are starting to shape up!!

No Chick-Fil-A, but there are few new food sponsors/venders that are not yet 100% comfirmed. It will be Interesting stuff when it gets released.

A few things to keep in mind...

    1. the stadium is old, so access points are limited
    2. Any upgrades needed would be done by Angels Baseball, Not Aramark
    3. It was opening day, not really an excuse, but the lack of modern amenities severely hurts service. There many factors the fans don't take in account that they don't see on the surface. Power is and plumbing is a major factor

No argument here at all... thats why in my response to the OP I noted that there is a two fold problem with the stadium - ARAMARK and the infrastructure is damn near 50 years old and was not built to handle everything thats being thrown at it.

I love the Big A dearly.  It is a second home to me and I did A LOT of growing up there.  I will shed tears the day she is torn down, but that day is getting closer and closer.  The old girl just isn't what she used to be.

Stadium employee here: Reservations to the Diamond Club is done 3 days in advance only, so whomever mentioned that they are probably all reserved is wrong. They do two seatings, early and late; and they both have advantages.

early seating: Usually is less crowded (although being opening day, don't expect this), but it's easier to focus on your meal and get a relaxing atmosphere watching batting practice. Keep in mind that at a certain point, you will have to give up your seat. This is the best option if you would like the Diamond Club experience and still use your seats

Late Seating: Most prefer this and for one main reason: squaters rights for the entire game! With second seating, you have the option to stay at those seats the entire game, but you are required to purchase items to do this. Keep in mind, because you are closer to game time, it WILL get hectic, so bare with the servers/kitchen as they will be slammed.

Either way, most will opt for the buffet because it is quality food and worth it for the quality/quantity and the opportunity to sit on the patio. The a la carte menu is top notch as well, but again, remember the service may be lacking right before first pitch.

Making reservations: ESPECIALLY for opening day, call the SECOND the lines are open for reservations and prepare to hold for a long, long time. And whatever you do, DO NOT HANG UP. you will lose your queue in line. If you are lucky enough to get reservation right away, always opt for the patio seats; they are the most popular because of the view.

I feel like just about anything is better than Lodge and his "Halo Honks" reference. Gave me a headache, just way to damn corny.

As someone who is at the stadium daily, this was a nice sight to see. The grass was layed down last week. Stadium improvements are well on the way. Press box is almost done and they removed the "A"s on the big red hats (Maybe for an updated logo?). Either way the stadium is starting to look like baseball again.

Craig is the name of the poster that years ago posted a thread that someone else already started. Then, someone started calling it a "Craig". I think Craig (the poster) still posts once in awhile.
