My head is spinning with all the directions this thing could go. Do we start Green at 2b and go after one of the big pitchers? That freed up payroll is gotta be used somewhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if we did it.

No thanks. Loved him when he was here but I would rather have Cron DH and Cowgill/Navarro as the 4th OF. Keep in mind Scioscia will want to rotate the DH spot to give a rest for Pujols, Hamilton, etc.

I think this will go down somewhat similarly to Trumbo last winter. Im guessing a deal gets done at the meetings in early December. Remember that report about 10 or something teams interested in Trumbo last year? I also don't buy Dipoto saying he's our starting 2B for sure. If an attractive offer comes at the meetings, you trade him. As previously mentioned in this thread, there are some decent internal options to fill in the spot at second until this Cuban prospect we just signed or someone else is ready.

Ill be attending my first games tonight and tomorrow! I was 10 in 2002, (sorry if it makes you feel old!) and I never got the chance to go in the late 2000's due to school/sports. Im in college now so all my classes are done by the afternoon. I just attended my first hockey playoff game at the Honda Center this year as well, cant wait to be in that type of atmosphere in the Big A!

Found 2 seats in 524 for game 1 a couple hours ago. Pretty satisfied that I now have tickets for Game 1 and 2 at face value. Hope to potentially buy more!
