  1. Makers Mark considered watering down the product due to high demand. About a week ago they said they will not be going through with it.
  2. We were waiting for you to come and start it!
  3. Angelduck, I can't give you any solid advice until you post a pic of the girl.
  4. If the catcher chooses to block the plate, then the runner has no other choice but to collide with him. But if the catcher sets up for a sweep tag, then a collision should be banned.
  5. "Budweiser waters down it's beer, lawsuit alleges" http://www.nbcnews.com/business/budweiser-waters-down-its-beer-lawsuit-alleges-1C8566405 NOO!!!, not King Cobra!!!!!
  6. I have to question the "competitor" in Vdub. Instead of talking about a 2014 retirement, he should be focused on the NOW. It does give the impression that he's given up and looking forward to retirement....conveniently after his contract is up.
  7. This Spring Training has started out so bad that players have already planned their 2014 retirement.
  8. You will have a good chance at the practice fields in the early morning. You can also be one of the first in the ballpark and hang out near the dugouts. At Tempe Diablo, there is a spot down RF line where the players enter/leave the field from the clubhouse. You can catch them there. Sosh HATES players signing during practice so if they don't stop to sign, that's a big reason why. Hamilton might make himself more accessible since he's on a new team. Pujols usually is pretty reserved but will sign at times. He won't sign jerseys, bats or on the sweet spot of a baseball. I've seen Trout sign frequently in the past, but not sure given his recent fame. A lot of the minor leaguers will sign freely. But whatever you do, respect their time. They do not have an obligation to sign anything.
  9. Sosh has an old school approach and Dipoto utilizes new era metrics. I don't see this as being a problem. It helps to have a conflicting idea to better the team, as long as both parties remain a level head.
  10. That is a smug comment from a butt hurt Rangers fan. The Rangers didn't give him a chance, the Reds did. In his first and only season with the Reds, he hit BA .292, OPS .922. That led to the Rangers offering two of their pitching prospects for him. The Rangers just offered more in a trade than the other teams. It's not like the Rangers were the ONLY team giving Josh a "chance". If Josh hit .200 with the Reds, he wouldn't be a Ranger.
  11. I feel Weaver's frustration. All this money talk was played out when he signed the contract. With a new season about to start, lazy reporting keeps bringing up the money issue. The guy just wants to talk baseball.
  12. A lot of food chains refuse to go into Angels stadium because Aramark pretty much takes over that location. I believe Panda Express is the only food spot Aramark doesn't have control over. So dropping Aramark will allow for more food options.
  13. Josh gave the Rangers a lot more than what the organization gave back.
  14. Hamilton Jersey with a Trout foam hat.
  15. It's OK to keep the ball as long as they are quiet.
  16. So they announced Harper also gained weight this off season. Must be a sophomore thing in baseball.
  17. I hope they have the mental capacity to pull this off. They would be doing everyone else a favor by keeping their traps shut.
  18. I see Gulibl is using this thread to double post and get his post count back up.
