Lol, just a thought that came to my head what will some of you think if the Angel sign Bauer in a couple days and he is the special guest speaker at this get together. Some of you all would be happy but I'm guessing some would be big mad lol. For me I guess it would depend on what he would have to say and how he said it.

Funny how everyone in baseball that ranks prospects and farm systems always say the Angels system is a desert and they suck. Yet so many times we cut someone there is teams there swooping in to grab them up and add them to thier system. Funny to me how that works.

I could see him doing a Kapernick and sue MLB for collusion. Not sure he would be able to prove it but he could sure drag MLB and its owners in the mud and get his face all over tv doing it.

I hope I am wrong but it sure feels like we are taking the route of we are signing these scraps from other teams becasue they were cut due to being bad but they are not as bad as what we had last year so there is the icing on our cake we are better but still bad.

All these guys that want Votto as a mentor I can see that but if we are to hire a guy to be a mentor why wouldnt they just approch him and say would you come be our fundamentals coach or make up whatever name you want and hire him that way. Then you dont have to clog up a 40 man spot on a guy way past his prime and get the same major function you want from him ?

100% they will want them to go more innings but they wanted that even when they were in a 6 man rotation. Biggest problem I seen last year with the pitchers we have/had was the lack of an out pitch so many 0-2 counts getting to 3-2 and walks due to lacking a get them out of there pitch. strike 1 strike 2 then nibble nibble nibble walk. My concern with going back to a 5 man rotation is are the guys now used to the 6 man and extra rest will it effect them physically and we have more injury risk only time will tell on that front I guess.

As I said in a earlier post there is absolutely nothing Tony 2 bandaides can say at this point he just needs to go out there and do it to shut up all the speculations about what he cares about. I sure doubt he really cares what we all think of his desire or work ethics. But I do know as was said before fans will fan if he rakes all will be forgiven or forgoten if he dont we will complain its what we as fans do best.

Would love to but a trip to Arizona isnt in the cards this year. Maybe the group will do a inseason get together around here at some point. The tickets should be cheap come May.

In the spirit of the cold stove and our teams lack of movement also some one posting up about Jose Guillen got me thinking back to the days of Fan Fest. What ever happened to this event before the season ? I remember going every year I knew about it and now nothing. You would think it would be a good way to get fans behind a team that on paper is not so good if folks could actually meet the players and get pictures,autographs and the such. Arte could get Del Taco to give dicount tacos in the parking lot. Are we the only team in baseball that doesnt have one of these events ?

Can he pitch whats his war look like can I see his splits vs left and right ? Is he willing to take differed payments over 10 years in the form of Del Taco gift cards ?

I honestly dont think there is anything that Rendon can say in any interview that will change what people feel or think he is he needs to just get his AS_ back on the feild and shut us all up with his bat and deication to being the best version of himself that we have ever seen. Results will shut up all of the nay sayers including me. He cant tell me how good he will be or how he fixed himself and have me beleive him go out and show me I truly hope he does.

While I agree that Perry could be doing some smaller deals. I do think that he has eyes on bigger fish. for example if you want that Tesla but you think the price is to high right now you dont want to go and buy a Honda right away because if the price of the Tesla comes down you may be able to afford it. He "Perry" has his budget and know what he can spend and I am sure he would like to bring in a Snell or Bellinger but cant or dont want to pay what they are asking and just isnt throwing his alotted cash into the next basket but is waiting to see if the price comes to him. I hope he dont wait to long tho and it seams like its getting close to that pickings are slim for impact players after the top 4 or 5 left.

Well I will say this Perry is truly picking at every peanut shell left on the floor and praying there is a nut inside still. I mean if he stands just right you could confuse him with Bellinger if you turn your head and hold your breath I guess lol

I dont see Boras letting either of these 2 "Snell or Bellinger" do a short high money this year and lets do this again next year deals because there is so much risk that they cant reproduce the years they had last year if it was clearly the status quo for them he would just to get a bigger bag when team finances are more clear. but not these 2 with all their question marks. With that said tho if last year was the staus quo with these 2 they would have no need to wait they would have teams tripping over each other to sign for what they want and not need to give any years or money away.

I am excited to see what Wash can do with this team. From all that is said from front office people to player's he should be a great asset for the team but as the roster is constructed if he could get a 500 record out of them hands down Manager of the year. I think he will be a big help but at the end of the day he will need to be a mirical worker of a medicine man to get the roster as it sits today to even a 500 record in my opinion and I sure if he was being honest with everyone he sort of feels that way to. Lets get the man some help.

Does it feel like MLB is just flat tired of Diamond Sports/ Ballys and wants them gone so that they can take over all the streaming on MLBTV and thats why they shot down Amazons deal with Diamond in their bail out attempt ? I know the artical I was reading it said that Amazon may still end up with the streaming rights but it would not be in a group deal with Diamond and it would have to done as a stand alone deal.

What would it take from Rendon to make everyone feel it was a worth while season for him ? I'll say if he could play 135 games and hit say 20 Hr and 75 RBI I would soften my stance that he is a busted player that dont give a crap about anything other then getting paid. I know everyone prays for Arte to sell and I do to but him selling doesnt automaticly mean its a good thing. I mean does everyone remember Frank Mcourt. We could be sold to some penny pincher that wont even spend on players let alone infrastucture. Just saying its hard to believe but it could be worse. I would sign Woodruff now because he will be cheaper now then he will be next year. I think he will bounce back just fine and if the Angels think so it would be good buisness to grab him when the cost is at its lowest but im sure them know more on his health then I ever will and at this point I'm grabbing at any higher end pitching this team could get its hands on
