First default strikeout I have ever seen.
I saw it once before. The batter thought he had called time out but the Ump never acknowledged it.

punctuation, not watching TV, Just GameDay.
that was a question since I cannot see what is actually happening and Garcia took a time out with a 1 - 1 count?

Delays messed with Sandoval

That chick behind home plate has been stuffing her face the whole night.
Sometimes these games only last 2 hours.....

I think he just asked what he "remembered" about him, which could mean watching him when Gubie was growing up, etc., rather than facing him. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, since I'm in a generous mood tonight. Ha ha.
O'Neal later says "I'm sure you had to pitch against him..." and Gubi starts talking over him.
Sometimes O'Neal is just clueless.

Did Patrick O'Neal ask Gubi about facing Fregosi?

That was the pitching numbers for his first no hitter in 1973 vs the KC Royals on 5/15/1973.
Ah, I saw the comment about Norm Cash and thought it was for the Detroit game 7/15/1973.

They really missed on the pitching line.
12 Ks instead of 17
30 Batters faced instead of 31

From the Gwinnett Stripers' (Braves AAA affiliate) game recap today:
Infielder David Fletcher, pitching for the second time in his professional career in the eighth, struck out the side (first strikeouts of his career).
So the Angels were misusing Fletcher all along.

Only way I can see a Moreno owned Halos team becoming a contender is for him to sell partial ownership to someone like Theo Epstein and make him POBO while turning over full baseball matters control to Epstein.
How about Mike Elias as POBO?

Mike Elias served as the Astros scouting director from 2012-2016 and was responsible for player development and minor league operation from 2016 to 2018 before leaving for the Orioles. Lo and behold the O's are now one of the top teams in the East with probably the best farm system in baseball right now.
Perhaps the Angels should offer him the PBO gig.

You realize that the Rangers and Astros are thinking they're the fortunate ones in these scenarios, right?

We're going to get crushed.
Rats, I keep forgetting the /s

Fortunately, the Angels get to face the Rangers next. The Rangers are currently on a 4 game losing streak which started with being swept by the Rockies.
Then on to Houston, where the Astros are only 1 place ahead in the standings.
