Hicks wasn't even running hard on that "bloop" hit.
Worthless

This is what you like to see, 3 innings completed in only 34 pitches.

Still early days, but fun fact: the Angels today are looking UP at the Amazin' A's.

Still early was the key statement.

He'll never be good enough for some folks.
He deserves to play for a playoff team, like Philly.
You have to wonder why Marsh was allowed to go to Philly instead of Adell, right Taylor?

The annoying thing is that he caused his own injury by not running to first base properly.
As he ran down to first, he didn't allow his body to flow in one motion. He jolted himself just before touching the base, which caused his injury. Had he not pulled up short of the bag there, and just kept on running in one smooth motion, he wouldn't have gotten hurt on that play. It's just like Gio Urshela did last year when he jolted his own leg into the ground, rather than continuing a fluid motion.
So trying too hard is to blame.

I want Trout on that team. Dude needs to play for a winner and get into the playoffs.
Does he really deserve that, playing for a team that can drag him into the playoffs? You want to see him go 0 for 4 in the playoffs? I don't.

Zero reason for Hicks to be hitting 5th, even when he does play.
Or Drury hitting 4th
-
Last night sure helped the Twins' stats.
-
I am guessing that Drury is playing at less than 100% right now. It wouldn't surprise me if he needs a 15 day rest period before the end of June.
-
It really is hard to believe that there isn't a better pitcher in this organization that would allow them to DFA Suarez.

What? That makes no sense. Lol. What a disaster.
My best guess is that they let people park too close to the fireworks setup in the parking lot and Anaheim FD caught it.
@PattyD22 might know the actual reason.

Fireworks delayed due to technical difficulties
You can't make this stuff up..
Safety Zoning issue is the announced reason now.

Even with the promise of fireworks, the stadium is clearing out.
-
it looks like Estevez is warming in the pen.
Edit: Hunter Strickland
-
They play Hendrix between the innings and the lyric I hear in my head is, I have only one burning desire, DFA Jose Suarez.
-
Fuller comes in and throws 3 straight out of the zone
-
.175 and he crushes it DEEP in the right field stands
