I have to ask: if a person is actually born gay (and boy it sure seems that there is a genetic basis for it, mutation or not), how in the world does it make sense to choose to deny them a right (and associated benefits) that will have absolutely no effect on the rights of others? Would it be similarly fair to deny such rights to those born of a particular sex, with blonde hair, albinism or Down Syndrome IF no harm would directly come of it to others? Furthermore, how in the world does it make sense to do so on the foundation of a belief based in chosen (not inherent) faith that a person can opt to hold or dismiss and is NOT born with? ...and if they aren't born gay, how are their rights and accompanying ability to have equal benefits in this respect somehow less important than those of those that choose to abide by a faith that guides them in thinking that being gay is wrong? As always, I think we should strip the term "marriage" from the government vocabulary, but that's not ever going to happen.

A thousand. It was like they thought that the zone Syracuse plays was some sort of wizardry. Crabbe is a great player but I don't understand why he took himself out of the game like he did. He kept playing further and further away. His hesitancy to do something with the ball ended up being the difference in the game. He needed another wake up moment. I'm pretty sure he's gone but there's a chance he could stay. They were in a position to take the game at the end, but couldn't do it. It didn't feel like a 6 point loss. It felt like a 25 point loss Solomon had a spectacular game. His development this year was amazing and his turn around in all areas (basketball and academics) is commendable.

What hurt most about and yet was best about it was that we traded Napoli and he went on to kill it for the Rangers for a single year. With that said, without the resulting acquisition of Napoli, the Rangers would never have been in a position to pull off the single greatest choke job in baseball history. Given the facts that A) even if we didn't make the trade we wouldn't have won it all that year and that B)Napoli fell apart as Mike Scioscia ultimately knew he would due to his feeble nature, it's actually good that the Rangers gained Napoli for 2011 and we didn't have him. Outside of Santana's no-no, the fact that the Rangers blew it so spectacularly was the BY FAR the best thing about the 2011 season. Furthermore, after 2011, you know Rangers fans were sure they had the catcher position locked up for another half a decade, and by a guy that would mash for that period of time. We knew better than those birdbrains. The Angels took much better care of Napoli and his fine china hips while not intentionally injuring him for the sake of winning like the Rangers did. What I'm saying is...the Wells deal was a good one.

It's negligible, but if it saves the team money via tax and some salary for equal production, it's a no brainer.

You know who they should have hired two years ago? Ben Howland. They should have told him to stop recruiting a bunch of guys that project to be nothing but 1 or 2s and dones. If he hadn't gone away from what was working for him earlier, he would have remained massively successful. The system that he runs isn't broken, but it was never going to work with the kind of players he had recently. It's really a shame. Howland's true ceiling hadn't been reached at UCLA. I truly think that he would have brought UCLA multiple titles if he had managed to recruit guys for his system.
