I really, really liked Mockingjay. I'm a sucker for exposition, and it was pretty much nothing but that. It was, IMO, enough material for a single film. This is contrary to some criticisms I've seen of the film. Mockingjay is actually the only one of the series that I haven't read, but I like that it took what was the secondary on screen focus of the first two and competently made it the primary focus here. The focus on how very much Katniss is a pawn was great. She's the least in control movie "hero" in recent memory.

The LG G series is where it's at, man. The G3 is spectacular. I'm still rocking my G2 and it's wonderful. There's nothing it can't handle.

I can't wait for it to hit San Antonio and its suburbs. I'm on it easily. No net neutrality issues, caps or throttling worries.

Yeah, I think, kinda. For what it's worth, the first film has the kitchen scene and the "clever girl" scene. Those suckers were clearly communicating while hunting. Standing around talking is silly, but I loved the part at the end of this trailer where the raptors looked at each other and lunged ahead of the bike. I think we have more raptor communication headed our way.

I dunno if this will be any good or not, but it might be a good amount of fun. It seems to more or less have the skeleton of the story from the first film, which is good. The second was alright. The third was garbage.

I agree, but I don't know how easy it will be for us to recruit. An improved offensive line would do wonders as well.

We choked today. However, the officiating was once again absolutely abhorrent. I don't get it. There were calls that absolutely blew my mind. It seriously seemed like they were trying to kill any chance of a Cal comeback in the second half. I know this sounds like sour grapes, but it's not. We lost this game by choking scoring opportunities early in the game.

I'd blow past that cap in a day.

I don't think you need to camp to get good deals. Online, man. At least that's what I'm doing for the xbox deal. Waiting five hours in a line to save $100 doesn't add up. I can't even begin to understand people that camp for days.

So, I was kinda on the fence between the two, but MS had a deal where they'll give you $100 towards an XB1 for trading in an old 360 with power cable, so I sent in my way old 20GB pro console and kept the controller to pair with the 360S console we have. For what it's worth, I shipped out the old 360 on Thursday and received my $100 code yesterday. Of course, I'm in the same state as the return center, so that likely explains the quick turnaround. They're running a deal on the MS store site for black Friday that includes the Assassin's Creed bundle plus a free additional game of your choice (ANY GAME... I'll get either GTA5,which I've never played or the new COD) for $329. So knock $100 off that and I'll have that for around $229. I'm good with that. Next gen, here I come.
