Arlington is nice... in April. From late May through the end of the season, it's just about the most consistently uncomfortable setting to watch a baseball game for 3+ hours. It's just that in this matter it came to light that he said something that would cause many conservatives to wash their hands of him. Furthermore, he's shown contrition for this instance while never showing it before. Of course, that's after some of his support has faded and some (possibly short lived) economic consequences have presented. He doesn't give half a shit if he upsets people and this doesn't result. Why? Because he's a troll. That's how this is truly representative of who he is. Now he gives half a shit if his words upset people? Yeah, OK. I dunno, maybe it's causing him to be more introspective in the here and now vis a vis this case, but I couldn't care less. He's in it for the attention and money, consequences be damned until they're at least momentarily unfavorable for him. You fall for this dude hook, line and sinker just like the people that think he's the devil incarnate. He doesn't actually give a shit about reasoned debate. He can't. He's already largely eliminated the climate in which that can exist around him, and he does that by being so outwardly inflammatory. That's of no trouble to him, it makes him A LOT of money, or at least a hell of a lot more than whatever he engaged in before did. I don't think that this is the end of him at all. Maybe his presence will be diminished, maybe not, but he's certainly not going to be done. I do think that this is representative of everything that he is and how he operates. COMPLETELY representative.
