  1. Precisely. It's apparent that the amount of rage that many can muster is inversely proportional to the amount of cheerleading they do for who/what should be justly receiving scorn. Also, it would seem that you can also reliably adjust up or down on the basis how childish a person seems to be as well.
  2. I suppose I would seem that way to you, at least according to the persona that you put forth on this board. I have no idea how true to life keyboard Jay is, though. I'm not as much sad as I am baffled that so many people would seemingly abdicate their values and expectations in exchange for our current leader.
  3. It's unbelievable, and some will be just okey dokey with it because "liberals sad" or some other pass that they're giving themselves for abandoning their former values in the name of partisanship.
  4. There's a boner for Bernie that won't go away hidden deep in the bowels of this post.

  6. You may be right, but that's not a good thing. Today's reality is so much worse than him being named Sir Trump.
  7. How in the world are the Republicans so thoroughly screwing the pooch on something that they've had 3/4 of a decade to work on? It was the crux of their platform for years. Not days. Not weeks. Not months. Not a year. Not two years. Not three years. Not four years. So, so many years. Idiots.
  8. Yeah, she's silly, but that's a total distraction. The Republicans are being everything any of them ever accused Obama and the Dems of vis a vis the ACA and then some. Totally deceitful, but because of partisanship and fatigue not enough people will give a crap about this.
  9. I agree. I think that this plan is a freaking disaster based on what I've heard. I don't think the ACA is the bee's knees, but this sounds like so much more of a screw job.
  10. Well, despite all the hubbub over that with the ACA, pass before analysis/budget scrutiny is the Republican strategy here. It's not a big deal anymore, apparently.
  11. I don't know if it is, but I've decided that this is proof that you follow Barbra Streisand on Twitter. That most certainly is humorous.
  12. I'm very excited for the Angels to receive their World Series rings at the start of the season. You must be as well.
  13. You actually have no idea what you're talking about. Seriously.
  14. You must be. Such a mindset is unfathomable.
  15. Nicolas Cage needs to get on this.
  16. That's not a good look, if true.
  17. Holy crap. Hey @Glen, I didn't know y'all got divorced. Hope the dog is doing well.
  18. He'll say that Sessions wasn't referring to any contact he had in his official duties. Even so, it would still be a lie a la "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" meaning that he didn't have sex with her. You know, the kind of lie good enough for impeachment before, but only considered "noise" in the present.
  19. Here's his threshold: noise becomes significant activity when the person is a Democrat. This happens on both sides. Jay's not some outlier here. He's exactly the same as many of the Dems that are made of similar fiber in this sense.
  20. Arlington is nice... in April. From late May through the end of the season, it's just about the most consistently uncomfortable setting to watch a baseball game for 3+ hours. They were incredibly stupid in deciding not to put a roof on that place. I will rarely make the trek to Dallas to see the Angels now that Houston is in division.
