Angels prospect Matt Thaiss went 3-for-4 on Wednesday for Scottsdale in the Arizona Fall League.

6 IP, 0 ER, 9 K's so far.

Weird.. a colleague just saw him at the bar.

Nah, his cage and bed were from the late great Maximus who passed away two months ago.

I'm guess if Scioscia could move as fast as Roberts he would save Pujols from a bad spill into the dugout. That said, if it was Claude he wouldn't move an inch and sport a grin much like the one below.

Update: I installed a doggie door and that has helped and he's holding it overnight (after a walk to go to the bathroom for 6 hours. I then walk him at around 5:30-6am and bring him to my room so he can sleep on his blanket and stuffed animal bear next to my bed. He sleeps till the wife gets up around 9am, so we got him on a good schedule. Today he willingly went into his cage/crate and chilled there on his own. First time! In just 3 weeks since getting him, he's grown quite a bit. Check out this picture when I first got him 3 weeks ago to now. 3 weeks ago... Last weekend... This past weekend...

I actually enjoy having a bourbon or glass of red wine once a day after work. It's just when I go out with the fellas for happy hour or planned events is when I can put some back.

Anthony Bourdain eats some pretty gnar shit from many different cultures, I doubt his man card has been lifted. I personally like pumpkin, but I'm not involved in the fall pumpkin fad that incorporates it into every dish or drink. I may take spin off this and do a Habanero/Pumpkin Chili. Sounds good.

Bill Mitchell: I’m a big Jose Soriano fan, as you can tell by his inclusion on a very deep Arizona League list. He really made good progress this summer. The other pitcher that I really liked was 11th round pick Jerryell Rivera, a LHP from Puerto Rico. He’s very tall, very lean and projectable. I don’t have a lot of notes on him since I knew he wouldn’t pitch enough to qualify, but I recall that he was sitting around 90 mph but with the projection to add more velo. Our board before that was ghetto and on an MS access database (2004-2005), so I'm not sure what the total post count was on that. Adam, Victor, Oz, John Ward and a few others posted on it during the early stages.
