  1. I guess it depends on his swing mechanics, but seeing how Tatis hurt his shoulder does raise the alarm a little.
  2. So far I'm preferring Perry's focus on quality signings with team chemistry in mind. Eppler did well on position players and he got some of the most potentially exciting talent in the game, but Perry M got reliable talent that we can count on this year. Our offense really hasn't exploded yet either and that's our strongest game, yet we're still playing well. It's still way too early to make any big claims but I like to get ahead of myself.
  3. If anything it would cancel out torque issues (I think) perhaps he just wants to focus a little more on hitting while being extra cautious about his blister.
  4. WS Game 7 bases loaded 2 out, just lean into the pitched strike for the win is fine?
  5. He leaned into it, they should consider anyone 'accidently' getting hit by a strike a foul ball, if the catcher catches it, strike.
  6. I miss the guy but Maddon is a nice change of flavor, Scioscia was very consistent and played an old school (1980s) version of baseball, Maddon seems to hold similar values but is a little more unpredictable but also more stubborn.
  7. Day games were never the Angels forte, also lacking that late night late inning energy, crowd was sleepy.
  8. We were never this tenacious during our record start to the 2018 season, I am still shocked we pulled this one off against yet another juggernaut team. Feels weird, like, we might be more talented than anyone expected. Let us all hope it lasts through the Summer, because we're going to need it, the A's won't continue rolling over and we will probably play them out of their slump.
  9. What's also great about having Walsh is if we go deep into an extra inning game he can pitch for us, dude is a solid reliever.
  10. Albert is good to have, not gonna lie. I disagree with not pinch running him there though, his lack of speed is a liability.
  11. Framing doesn't make up for many inches off, I think home plate ump is an Astros fan
  12. MLB wants to Astros to win it all without 'cheating'
  13. I have no idea how an umpire can ring someone up on that pitch to Trout, the balls on this guy
  14. Everytime Mike Trout Ks we score, lol. I don't agree with that strike call, but our boys got his back.
  15. Some extra info, Ohtani ran up to congratulate Walsh after the players rushed in, and there was no limping, he looked fine.
  16. None of our 'best' hitters have begun to rake yet, so there's still room for improvement. But man, this team is great in late innings already.
  17. Hahaha yes! Ohtani pitching and batting in the same game in the AL against a playoff bound team, this is gonna be interesting!!
