    Yeah, this is the kind of stuff that unfortunately proves the "Arte is cheap" narrative. He'll open his wallet for big flashy FA signings (almost all of which have been gigantic busts), but quietly in the background he fires the people who will ensure the long-term success of the organization.

    Donny Boy tried hard to change the law because he couldn't handle the media saying negative things about him. He failed. Sarah Palin tried to do the same thing and the Supreme Court told her to take a hike. If Bauer were to win this case, it would be the first of its kind.

    I've explained it before in other threads. Funny, I was talking with a personal injury attorney friend I know about the Sarah Palin stuff, and he understood how libel law works. @wopphil knows, too.

    Or maybe he's just sharing his genuine opinion? I love how Trout normally does his business quietly, but the fact that he's speaking up on this topic is especially significant since he normally wouldn't comment.

    Since we're going full nerd, there was an obscure RPG for GameCube called Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. It might have my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. I first played the game as a freshman in high school, and this song is still just as beautiful.
