    No thank you, but they can acquire 3 REAL relievers for that freed up $25 million, while actually developing them on the farm for the first time in who knows how many years.

    Would have just thrown whatever scrub didn't pitch yesterday. But unfortunately, Johnson, BadPebble, and Morris all pitched yesterday.

    At this rate, Upton will become a likely traded guy by July 2020, when hopefully Adell and Marsh will be ready. Hitting like Cron did here for $106 million and playing mediocre defense = Arte hasn't truly learned his lesson yet?

    Saupold is a pitcher waiting to blow up in a bad way. Only 10 Ks and 1.36 WHIP in 21 innings prior to today, and yet a 2.50 ERA???? He has to be one of those pus throwers? At least Heaney minimized the bullpen use today, given the putrid 1st inning.

    And minimize bad contracts, which I thought the Halos had starting doing until giving Upton 5 years/$106 million to be just about the most inconsistent player this side of Cron.

    If Scioscia and Eppler can't convince him to go to SLC, I'm okay with Cold as 4th OF. It's better than hitting .145 as a regular. Chris Young needs to go for sure (.580 OPS and bad defense), and Hermosillo needs to be called up to start in RF. He sure as heck can't hit just .145. Will Scioscia and Eppler cooperate though?

    I know that. It's time for Scioscia AND Eppler to tell him that for the good of the team he needs to go, because any player with half a brain would understand that staying up here full time hitting .145 does neither he nor the team any good. Let's see just how team oriented, he is.
