Unfortunately Boras and hometown discount has never and probably will never be used in the same sentence. The dude will never let that happen, but it sure would be nice. Looks like we may be the deciding factor in this cy young race as we get both Verlander and Cole 1 more time.

I've read the entire thread and there have been some very intriguing ideas. 1 problem nobody seems to be mentioning is, we're still stuck with Cozart. Unless the Angels plan on releasing him they're stuck with him at 3rd next year. Assuming he can play more then 30 games next year. Our offense isn't the problem though, we've ranked top 10 in the AL most of the year and personally I'd like to see the money spent on 2 big name pitchers. We have the prospects to trade for a bat during the season if needed.

Walker Buehler would be a player I'd consider trading Adell for, but it would cost Buehler and more. Betts and 1 year? No. He's gonna be looking at a deal near what Trout got and The Angels just can't afford that.

Been a life long Angel fan and finally decided to join this wonderful community. It gets frustrating when all your friends are fans of that other team in Los Angeles and nobody cares about the Angels except Trout. Looking forward to charing/venting with you all.
