Only 1 out is not from a strikeout. Ridiculous. Angels hitting is bad.
-
Ump missed 3 clear strikes. They weren't even borderline.

I think Iggy has the best trade value and is most likely to be traded. Top of the line closer and still under club control for the next two years. Maybe Thor could get good value as well. Loup if he returns to form in the next month might be of value too. The rest would get minimal return (outside of Trout and Ohtani).

It's really amazing, Hr had 8 RBIs last night, and he's pitching like this tonight.

Seven straight games and counting where the Starting pitcher has given up 1 run or less. Angels will win a lot of games if that continues.

Angels starting pitchers have given up 1 run or less in 6 straight starts. Let's hope Sandoval extends it to 7 in a row.
-
The last 4 Angel's starting pitchers have given up a combined total of 4 hits! Ohtani was the worst of them giving up 2 hits. haha. Incredible too, considering 3 of the 4 are rookie pitchers. Future looks bright!

It's too bad because Lorenzen was pitching well. This inning he had 2 ground balls that happen to find holes. I think Mayfield should have had the 2nd for a double play and its a different inning all together. Then 2 walks and a HBP. Tough ending to a good night.

The Angles would be exactly like the Red Sox when they traded Babe Ruth to the Yankees and it would start the Curse of the Ohtani.
-
This is where not having Mike Trout in the lineup really hurts Ohtani. Nobody is pitching to him right now.
-
Mayfield hitting 3rd isn't much protection for Ohtani. I'm shocked he even gets any pitches to hit.

The whole point is they are suppose to look like a Little League jersey to represent the Little League World Series. In that context, I think these jerseys are fun. I like them.
-
Is there a reason they didn't play game 1 yesterday when there was an off day, rather than play a double header today?

Reminds me of Kawhi Leonard. Elite athletes know there body well. Just don't let it become an issue like San Antonio did and all will be fine.

19 of them are college pitchers so they should be ready much quicker than pitchers straight out of high school. Hopefully they hit big on 2 or 3 of the 20.
Gameday Thread (7/13/22): Astros @ Angels - no Trout, Ward in CF, Adell in RF

Angels hitters are just terrible. 2 on and both batters strike out on pitches that weren't even close to being strikes.
