    Hey I’m all for Cole signing here. We need him and more. I just think that he’s going to get a big payday and the Angels will have stiff competition. That guy is a great pitcher. Hopefully the Angels will be picking up the tab.

    Because if Burger King offered you a 50% raise, picked up 100% of your medical, dental and vision, 401K, life insurance, offered you stock, company car, travel expenses and In-n-out said no to match it you would be flipping Whoppers instead of Double-Doubles.

    If they win a World Series title this season it will all be worth it. Crazy that they jumped into our division and went from the sh*t house to the penthouse. If they win it all this season they’ll have AL West bragging rights until we win another championship.

    I would love to see that happen but he’s going to go the the highest bidder. He’s talented enough to get a huge deal on the open market. The Angels will obviously consider him a priority but it may get near the $200M range.

    He's most likely going to sign a contract that’s closest to Bank of America.

    I think Houston would have to go outside their normal spending habits to re-sign him. He’s not going to be on the Astros next season with that Greinke deal already in place. But there are some contending teams out there besides us with some loose change.

    So who is our competition for Cole. Are there other teams out there with the same need that have money to spend. Not sure.

    The analytics prove only one thing. You’re only as good as the players you put on the field. Sh*ty openers shouldn’t open and sh*ty starters shouldn’t start.
