I thought 3.7% was the chances of us making the playoffs.
More like 0.00037% chance of that

Fans fault we haven't fielded a competitive team in 5 years. How dare the fans have expectations. If you think this forum is "negative" or "whining" go to Twitter... this is nothing.

Angels will find a way to lose tomorrow
What's the Vegas Line on that? I would expect the "Bye Day" to be favored.

Pujols hits into a double play to end the game, calling it now.

I will say this again.... Thank goodness we signed Trout. Can you imagine the narrative if we hadn't?
120 losses without Trout would actually be a reachable goal

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I saw it on MLB Network and thought it was interesting: If we lose tonight, it will be the first time the Angels have started a season 1-5 since 1961.
At least we're breaking records somehow

Tut tut looks like rain. Better stay inside then.
Ill love it when the Angels win 95+ this year and make all of you sad negative fans happy for a few minutes.
Ward / Fletcher / Rengifo /Jones are all solid if not spectacular now and will all be contributors in 2019 or 2020 at the “black hole” positions of 2nd and 3rd.
Adell will debut in 2019, may not have an impact until 2020.
Marsh probably debuts in 2020 or 2021.
LOLOLOOLOL, we aren't negative... we are realist. If you really think this team is a 95+ win team you are not living in reality.

How are we making the playoffs being the 4th or 5th best team in our division?

They need to get good players by spending money, which they don't want to and going over the budget. I guess they will continue to get players from the 99 cent store.
What's sad is other teams will find players from the 1 cent store who are still better than ours from the 99 cent store.

It just blows my mind how we consistently get players that are just terrible. Not even average. Just downright terrible.
How do you even fix this? I feel like this season is already a lost cause with the injuries to Heaney, Upton, and Ohtani.
We will be fighting with the Rangers just to stay out of last place this year. Week 1 and the Season is already over.

Our 1-4 is 0 for 14. Our 5-9 is 8 for 18. Apparently Pujols and La Stella are the heart of the team
But our #3 Hitter is quite possibly the worst #3 Hitter in MLB History so he doesn't really count.

The only interesting thing will be seeing if we finish 4th or last in the Division, at this point it's looking like last.

Why are some people here so obsessed with Dipoto? He's been gone a while now.

This thread turned out well

Upton is the most unclutch hitter I've ever seen.

Can you cut a player in the middle of the game? Valbuena is quickly climbing up the list of most hated players. Dude is a POS.
So glad we pursued him and not trash players like Jean Segura and Dee Gordon. I wonder if there is warranty or return policy on him... can we give him back to the Astros in the middle of this game?

Team RISP:0-4 (Kinsler 0-1, Maldonado 0-1, Valbuena 0-2)
Sums up what is wrong with this team

Sunshine pumpers/"true" fans are right, I see no reason this team can't win 100 games!
