  1. Lamb pitches as bad as he looks like he'll pitch
  2. love how many Simpsons GIFs I see on this board makes me feel pride in my work haha
  3. Pujols-esque AB from trout with the chance to tie. One pitch grounder to 2nd
  4. Trout is an absolute pleasure to watch everyday. It seems every time he comes up, we're guaranteed a run or a baserunner...or a man LOB with the way our lineup is haha. And it's cool because it really does feel to me I'm watching the best season I've ever seen a player play. He makes getting on base twice a game with excellent defense look like it's nothing. He's the only non-Bonds player I've seen who can legit carry a team by himself for games
  5. F**k Brian Fuentes and his gay throwing motion. Dude and his 1.4 WHIP would fit right into our current bullpen
  6. The stupid drums didn’t bug me until right now haha ugh. Stupid bullpen
  7. Pujols and Valshitty at 4 and 5 in the lineup is ewwwww also: man the A’s f**king suck. And Albert looks like “man I’m baller I forced that s**t” haha.
  8. True, but my point is more that they have also in 26 seasons missed the playoffs 24 times. Those 2 championships, for me, aren’t worth 24 other seasons of misery where you only won 90+ games twice and lost 90+ games 8 times.
  9. In this scenario, are we perennial contenders with one WS and lots of division championships, like 2002-2009 for us? Or are we like the Marlins in 2003 and we win one random WS but suck the rest of the years? The amount of fun I have watching the team contend every year is >>>> the amount of fun I have seeing Trout put up GOAT numbers for a loser. But if we only win a random world series and suck the rest of the time anyways, I'd probably take Trout over the ring. Trout could make me watch a crappy team for years, but one ring previously wouldn't necessarily make me watch years of suckiness after the fact
  10. The Mariners feel like our team from 2014. Feels like a hot season for them but they don't seem like a legit contender. They have some ballers though, no doubt. Not that it isn't discouraging to see us play this way, but I do like that we're actually seeing some production come from previous blackholes in our lineup with the additions of JMF and Fletcher. I also do trust Eppler to make moves to fix the bullpen; knowing what we can work with at the major league level from our AAA crop must surely paint a better picture for him of what holes he will need to fill this year. I would rather play this way now so Eppler makes some moves at the deadline, we pick up some steam and then get hot in September to make the playoffs and be hot at the right time to make a run in the playoffs. Better than being too hot too early and then fizzling out, although if Billy continues to sit and wait, we may be too late.
  11. Well maybe that some holes on offense have potential to be covered up internally (Fletcher, JMF) Eppler can start focusing on giving us a relief pitcher that doesn't fucken suck
  12. when it rains it pours not just because they're in Seattle either
  13. "ahhhhhhh" -Home plate umpire on balls and/or strikes/strikeouts
  14. It sucks everyone is getting hurt, but we're getting to see what our minor leaguers can do!
  15. Valbuena looks like a man who’s about to strikeout again
  16. Offensive gameplan: just do enough so Trout can bat again
