  1. Indisputably. He’s gotta be my least favorite angel right now. Well maybe 2nd least favorite besides the bullpen haha (minus Noe)
  2. I wish there was a better term than the word streaky haha
  3. Super busy at the studio today. Didn’t get to check the internet or my phone or anything. Left late and didn’t take lunch. Got in the car to go home, turned on the game to Jose Mota saying “bad news on ohtani” I’m like shhiiet bad blister huh; Mota: “grade 2 UCL blah blah blah (aren’t those blah blah the worst)” and I’m like F**K ...*John lackey gif insert here*..I start punching the steering wheel and the 134 locks up so I turn off the radio and sit in silence and think about lord of the rings and sh*t. Well anyways at least he’s only 23 and on a minimum contract haha. I’m just dreading going back to work on Monday where I’m the house angels fan in Doyer country and I don’t wanna hear it man haha
  4. Is it normal for teams to have so many high potential relievers come thru their system with nasty stuff that fizzle out after one really good year? Seems like it always happens to us since Frankie left: arredando, jepsen, bedrosian, Walden off the top of my head. It’s like we can’t develop an all-star reliever the last 10 years
  5. Chris young is a good, under the radar player with lots of homerun potential - me on why I had him on my 2007 fantasy team and he ended up being one of the steal free agent pickups in my league. In 2007.
  6. Kinsler has been solid lately. Cozart is always on the cusp of being solid. Definitely a lot of upside to be had from 2B/3B offensively. Maybe playing SS for a little while can get Cozart going offensively? Being his natural position and all, perhaps mentally he’ll feel more comfortable overall
  7. Surely we will score one run with Trout destined to bat with a man in scoring position? Right?
  8. I like both picks, to be honest. Jackson becoming a stud could take some of the sting away from Vladdy Jr
  9. The names in this draft are crazy. I really couldn’t tell if they were listing the first name before the last.
  10. Atlanta's is good too (outside of Markakis batting 9th): DH Camargo .224/.366/.430/.796 C Suzuki .262/.325/.462/.787 1B Freeman .335/.432/.536/.968 2B Albies .263/.307/.506/.812 3B Flaherty .270/.359/.365/.724 SS Swanson .263/.324/.437/.761 LF Acuna .265/.326/.453/.779 CF Inciarte .247/.304/.347/.651 RF Markakis .328/.392/489/.882
  11. Just for fun, was thinking about what our lineup would be if we went by positional number: 1. Ohtani DH (AL rules) 2. Maldonado C 3. Pujols 1B 4. Kinsler 2B 5. Cozart 3B 6. Simmons SS 7. Upton LF 8. Trout CF 9. Hermosillo RF yuck haha. The reverse doesn’t look bad though. Would there be any lineup in MLB that would look good with these parameters?
  12. Have always rooted for him to succeed. But he has always underwhelmed, nice glove and all. I wish we’d stop giving him chances in favor of JMF/Fletcher. He could probably go to a rebuilding team cutting salary and get some consistent reps, pressure/expectation free.
  13. I definitely think Billy does something about the bullpen this week. It’s june on Friday, enough of a sample size and enough freaking blown games
  14. Wow Jam sounds like he could be a new and improved-Chone Figgins type, with power but a little less speed. Obviously has to get more reps in and continue to progress at 2B, but sounds like he’s a quick learner and super athletic. Could probably learn some 3B one day as well to be used in a pinch. Nonetheless, very promising!
