  1. First off, this post read more like a paid for advertisement for Camarena than it did as a Public interest story.  If Camarena is going to sponsor the Angels and Angelswin.com then great!  More power to them.

    However, just because they are a sponsor doesn't mean that I need to start farting rainbows and pissing lemonade whenever they are mentioned.

    And, FYI, my favorite tequila (which has gone unmentioned here out of respect for the idea that Camarena is a sponsor) is only $5 per bottle more, hardly "snobbish" territory.

    Nobody is asking you to fart rainbows over them.  Just like nobody asked for your tequila opinions.

    Are you really that socially dense?  It is pretty clear based on the the original post, and Chuck's endorsement, that there is some sort of arrangement/partnership going on between the tequila maker and angelswin.  Out of respect for the site, and Chuck, I think most people understand if tequila isn't their thing, or this brand in particular isn't their thing, they'd just keep their mouth shut.

    But apparently, not you - you must be special.  Go ahead and regale us with your superior tequila taste and knowledge.

  2. I don't get why it wasn't built with a retractable roof, given the rain in the summer time and extreme cold even in April.

    Unless they didn't have the financial resources to add a retractable roof to the stadium deal?

    No, they did not have an unlimited budget.

    Big deal, both teams are playing in a little cold.

  3. I tried Camarena Tequila.

    As an alternative to Jose Cuervo, it's good.  However, as an alternative to almost any other tequila, it's not.

    Perhaps it stems from the fact that I'm a tequila snob and have tried more different tequilas up and down the price spectrum than most (Yes, I have spent more than $200 on a bottle).

    But for those who's almost entire exposure to tequila involves Jose Cuervo and Patron (the Kardashian of tequila's, only popular because it's popular) this could be a decent alternative.

    BTW, I tried the Camarena after hearing they were sponsors of the Angels.

    Good luck with the future promo's, but unless they up their game significantly in the smoothness, I will continue to pass.

    Thanks for s-ing on the post.

    Booze snobs are the worst.

  4. The best is the guys wringing their hands because the Dodger owners are paying Greinke $147 million.

    This is the same Guggenheim who doubled any other offer to buy the Dodgers.  Thereby allowing McCourt to pay off all his debts, pay off his bitch ex-wife, and THEN allow McCourt to put a billion dollars in his pocket.  Frank McCourt!!

    And you are sympathizing with them??

    Unreal.

  5. Sorry Katie, but Quentin has been a known plate diver for years.  He gets hit by pitches all the time.

    I love how people want to insinuate that somehow saying something means you should get your collarbone broken.

    I'm no Dodger fan, I hate them in fact, but this is on Quentin and he is going to pay dearly because I bet the league is going to come down hard on him.

    Acting like a tough guy on the mound after you've just plunked somebody can lead to a fight.

    A fight can lead to a broken collarbone.

    Its simple logic.

  6. I haven't seen any Dodger supporters posting in this thread.

    Feel bad for Greinke. Always liked the guy. I loved Mattingly's responses too.

    /////////

    So if you unintentionally plunk a guy twice your size and he turns toward the mound, you will keep your mouth shut and ignore him?

    /////////

    Greinke is a wuss? Your and idoit. The dude is 1/4th the size of Quentin. gtfo

    /////////

    I'll give props to Greinke.

    ///////////

    Run his mouth? What did he say?

  7. I could even blame the fans for constantly crying about certain players, and wanting changes to be made every fifteen minutes, eliminating any consistency or stability.

    God forbid the Angels don't "Make a Splash!!" in the Hot Stove League... the jackanapes on this board go berzerk!
