  1. Maybe someone should tell opposing offenses to not have that Zodiac Killer mentality (killer instinct) when they hit at Angel Stadium and make it look like a hitters ballpark. Or tell the Angels pitching staff to stop sucking because by the time the Angels have a good pitching staff again like they did years ago, Zodiac might finally be caught.
  2. Lets do a comparison of Angel Stadium in 2014 vs. 2021. The ballpark factor at Angel Stadium in 2014 was under 100. This season, it's over 100. Mind you, 2014 was another 1968, a season where pitching dominated over hitting. This season is like 2014, pitching dominates hitting. So why is the ballpark factor in 2021 favors hitters at Angel Stadium but not in 2014? A big reason is the Angels pitching staff. In 2014, the Angels had an excellent pitching staff, especially in their starting rotation. Weaver, Shoemaker, and Richards all pitched well that season. All three had ERAs under 3.60. Their bullpen was terrific that season with Street and Joe Smith leading the way. This season, the Angels currently have a terrific pitching staff, both in the starting rotation and bullpen. You're just an idiot to realize that, stupid teddy bear.
  3. Angels Stadium is still a pitchers ballpark. Don't get fool into thinking it's now a hitters ballpark because of the park factor. Bundy has been awful this season. Heaney stinks. Quintana has continued to look bad since 2017. The Angels pitching staff is just terrible. If you put the 2013 Dodgers pitching staff (Kershaw, Greinke, Ryu, Jansen, just to name a few) at Angel Stadium for the current amount of home games that the Angels have played so far this season, the park factor at Angel Stadium would be much lower. Same with the 2018 Astros or 2019 Astros pitching staff with guys like Verlander and Cole leading the way.
  4. Prior to tonight's game against the Cardinals, Bellinger had a .138/.265/.241 slash line with no home runs for the 2021 regular season...and he just struck out, so his slash line is going down. So good for a guy who was a so-called Trout challenger for the title of "best player in all of baseball" during the 2019 season.
  5. Makes it feel like Trout's .333 batting average so far this regular season is .353 just knowing that the league batting average this season is .236. Years from now, MLB fans should be in extra awe of Trout's greatness just knowing that he put up many great seasons (2012-2015 and 2018) at the plate in tough hitting environment. I would love to know what Trout's career slash line would be up to this point if he had played in the steroids era. Might have his career OPS go up to 50 points.
  6. Angels Stadium is a hitters ballpark now? No, the Angels pitchers can't pitch and they have this guy named Trout, who has a .333/.486/.685 slash line at home in the 2021 regular season so far and can make any pitchers ballpark look like a bandbox. Those two reasons have inflated the ballpark factor of Angel Stadium.
  7. Lindor still has an OPS under .600 to go along with an OBP under .300 as we head into the third month of the 2021 regular season. This guy is a mess right now. I don't see him ever living up to that contract that the Mets handed out to him. He was never an elite hitter. A very good hitter (was), yes.
  8. Miggy has grounded into his 329th career double play in the regular season, moving him past Aaron after being in a tie for forth most all-time in most double plays by a batter. Not shocking for a guy who has never been known for his speed.
  9. Stanton is 0 for 12 with eight strikeouts, which is a lot even for him, since coming off the IL...and getting booed by the Yankees fans once again. He currently has 1,450 strikeouts in the Major Leagues. If Stanton plays 162 games for every single regular season for the next six seasons (not counting 2021), he would have just over 2,600 strikeouts if he continues averaging 192 strikeouts a season, which is his average number of strikeouts per-162 games. Wait, that would mean that Reggie would no longer be the career strikeout leader by a batter.
  10. Dodgers have gone 2-4 ever since their fans acted like morons in Houston before the Astros series. Even Pujols' "winning attitude" couldn't save them. #karma
  11. Giancarlo Pujols struck out against Gausman in his first plate appearance in today's game.
  12. Marine layer "robbed" Pujols of a walk-off home run. Happened so many times as an Angel.
  13. Pujols has a career .256/.311/.446 slash line since the start of the 2012 regular season. It looks almost identical to the career slash line of Adam Jones, which is .277/.317/.454. Pujols has become a free swinger like Jones was for quite a long time. Pujols had a career .420 OBP after the 2011 regular season. Now? It's at .376, which is still pretty good but not quite at an elite level.
  14. Pujols with a fluke hit on a play that he could have been thrown out at first base despite Crawford playing deeper than usual. Showing his Zodiac Killer speed. Or it's just the Zodiac Killer wearing a Pujols jersey and mask.
  15. Pujols just struck out in tonight's Astros game. That's now five strikeouts in 25 plate appearances for him as a Dodger. Currently has a .208/.240/.333 slash line for his new employers. #Pujolssucks
  16. Lindor has a .185/.294/.272 slash line in 151 ABs with the Mets so far during the 2021 regular season. I have never thought of Lindor was an elite hitter but he was always a good hitter in Cleveland. A lot of his value comes from being a terrific defensive shortstop. Wasn't worth the contract that the Mets gave him. And he's getting booed by the Mets fans. Didn't expected that. But Fernando Valenzuela and Jeter both got booed by their own fans for struggling to perform well, too. Hard to believe that but it's true. That's like Angels fans booing Trout because he is struggling badly. Could happen, hopefully not.
  17. .217/.250/.348 slash line with his new team. And he's grounded into three double plays in only seven games. If it wasn't for the name on the back of his jersey, he would be in serious jeopardy of being let go. Guy was awful with the Angels but he's even worse with the Dodgers. Didn't do anything good with the Angels. Never even won one World Series with the Angels. Just a horrible contract from day one.
  18. Austin Barnes is still crying about the Astros winning the 2017 World Series. That's too bad. Too bad that the Dodgers' offense struck out way too much that World Series. And Jansen choked like Kershaw during game two at Dodger Stadium.
  19. Looking forward to the Astros playing in their next series. Seeing Kershaw getting blasted by the Astros would be amazing like when I took a test for a friend that one time in school without ever getting caught.
  20. There are different ways to lead a team, you know. It could be from having a speech or backing it up with your performance on the field.
  21. Trout, Ohtani, and even Walsh has made this team somewhat interesting despite the losing record. When it comes to Walsh, he could very well go down as a late bloomer. I don't think he'll have something like a .300/.380/.540 slash line this season but he'll probably end the regular season with a solid slash line.
  22. As far as advance stats goes, Trout is still top-10 in the American League in runs created (4th), adjusted batting wins (3rd with 1.7), and adjusted batting runs (3rd with 17) despite missing 9 games this season so far. He'll soon fall out of the top-10 in runs created because that is a cumulative statistic. The other two statistic relies on performances from game-to-game. A bad game like an 0-4 performance will likely make it go down, so he might still be in the top-10 in the American League in the two categories after he comes back in about mid-July.
  23. Yankee fans still hate Altuve so much that they still chanted "F--- ALTUVE" despite the fact that the Yankees played the White Sox last night. I mean, let it go. And it's looking like the Dodgers might be the team that cheated with cameras. So many people cheat in this world but not many have the balls to admit that they cheated. But I can admit that I did cheat back in my years of education.
