I understand the venting... it's definitely justified... I just get tired of seeing the same vent over and over and over and over....and... you get the picture.

I met a guy on a message board who told me that he had a cousin who lived next to a guy who was dating a woman, who's niece walked the dog of a friend, who's sister was a nurse and she was in the hospital room the day Albert was born and he is the age he claims to be. No matter what - some people will just never give Albert the benefit of the doubt on anything - be it his age, whether or not he juiced, prefers pepsi over coke, etc. If he had put together two good seasons as a Angel - this wouldn't even be a topic.

I think the idea that players want to "go home" to play when they become a FA is overblown and doesn't really happen all that often. It usually just comes down to money with rare exceptions. I would be monumentally disappointed if the Angels did not lock him up, but as all of you fans know - that's just something that's out of our control. So... why worry about it? I am enjoying the time we have with him right now and thinking about the possibility of his leaving is just not worth the energy.

all I know is that it's easy for me to cheer for Mark Trumbo. He gives a max effort and has a great attitude. If he ever completely figures it out - he will be something special... tha'ts a big if, but I'm hopeful.

I love being at the ball park. I loved being there for Jered's no hitter and for other memorable occasions. I enjoy baseball so much more in person. I get to see the whole field and not just what they choose to show me on TV. I'd rather watch the whole field than just the game from behind the pitcher as a point of view. I like the social aspect of being at the ball park too - which includes the relationships you build with other fans who are regulars in your section and even with the staff working at the stadium. That being said - it's hard to enjoy games when the team is playing horrific baseball. I can't blame people for choosing to do something else with their time. It's emotionally draining to watch bad baseball and even harder to watch players who appear to give less than their best effort at times. I rarely leave early, but find myself doing that more this year and even skipping a few more games than I normally would. It definitely takes a toll on my mood when the games are so bad and disappointing. I'm torn. I will renew, but it's getting harder to make that kind of commitment and it does take a lot of commitment.

Bob Boone at 65 would probably be a better option than what we're seeing these days.

It's funny that some people think that $3.5 million isn't a lot of money. What has the world come to? It's all relative, but at the end of the day - $3.5 million is a ton of money in my book.
