  1. Aaron Hill has an Eppler move written all over him.
  2. The title of the article is so misleading. This has nothing to do with the Angels staying in Anaheim.
  3. Thursday - 10/20 Chicago(+8) At Green Bay(-8) Sunday - 10/23 NY Giants(-3) vs Los Angeles(+3) (Played in London) Minnesota(-2.5) At Philadelphia(+2.5) New Orleans(+7) At Kansas City(-7) Washington(+1) At Detroit(-1) Cleveland(+10) At Cincinnati(-10) Buffalo(-3) At Miami(+3) Oakland(+1) At Jacksonville(-1) Indianapolis(+2.5) At Tennessee(-2.5) Baltimore(+1) At NY Jets(-1) San Diego(+6.5) At Atlanta(-6.5) Tampa Bay(-2) At San Francisco(+2) New England(-7) At Pittsburgh(+7) Seattle(+1.5) At Arizona(-1.5) Monday - 10/24 Houston(+7.5) At Denver(-7.5)
  4. Rangers activated OF Josh Hamilton from the 60-day disabled list; placed him on unconditional release waivers. "Hamilton underwent surgery in June for an ACL injury and to repair arterial and meniscus cartilage in his left knee. The 35-year-old outfielder is still owed $28.4 million in 2017, but the Angels are on the hook for most of that. He didn't appear in a single game this season and will turn 36 years old next May. It probably won't be a very fruitful free agent market for him." Rotoworld Time for him to smash some tequila and chicken fajitas...if he hasn't been already.
  5. Who the hell wants to go from So-Cal to Minnesota?
  6. He's looking like a beast. Lets hope he keeps it up.
  7. If trading Shoemaker and Santiago can add 5 or so high end prospects and replenish a depleted farm system you have to make those moves. As far as Escobar, I'd be ok with either trading him or holding on to him for next years deadline. One thing I don't understand is why not rotate him and Pujols at DH more. He'd make a perfect DH
  8. Would have been so nice to have him being set up by Gott. Would look a lot like Shields/Percival back in the day. Oh well
  9. The Angels need some of those guys who sell the knock off stereos or sunglasses at the mall. I would buy anything they sell if only to get them to stfu. "Joe Smith for sale, has Mariano Rivera guts bro, come on best price"
  10. Wouldn't chance it...he'll end needing TJ. Best to have guys like Nava and Gentry try to eat up some innings.
  11. Would have been a good time to call up Newcomb...oh wait
  12. New pitching coach...3 tommy johns....peace out Nagy.
  13. Why is it so hard to find a solid defensive catcher that can hit at least .275 I'm not asking for Buster Posey, I'm asking for "not Mathis". Hopefully Bandy can be a solid contributor and Ward can come up and hold down the fort in a few years.
  14. I don't know what you just said to me little kid, but you're special. You reached down and touched my heart.
  15. "Remember when you knew how to do more than crush a never ending pasta bowl at Olive Garden?"
  16. Ya...it took a while, but I need to vent somewhere and I cant talk to myself forever on that site lol.
  17. If we were having a good year, his 7mill option would be such an easy decision to pick up, but at this point we need to pull the plug and get as much as humanly possible in return for tradable assets.
  18. The Bandy Man can! Too bad he's hitting so well, that means Scioscia will put him on the bench soon. Feel sorry for him. In order to start for the Angels you have to have swiss cheese for a bat and eat olive garden every night with Sciosc until you're on the verge of diabetes.
  19. I'd prefer Marte at DH and get anything you can for Cron. Anyone know how familiar Petit is with 2b. I'd like to see a middle infield of him and simmons. I'm pretty much done with watching Giavotella's boulder hands.
