    Sorry but I can't blame Josh Hamilton's hitting struggles on the batting coach. Hamilton is supposed to know how to hit by the time he gets to this level. Shouldn't matter which uniform he's wearing, or which park he's playing in. He's a professional hitter and should know how to hit.

    Agree that the team seemed unprepared at the beginning of the season, and that is something that should definitely be addressed. However I still don't see how firing Scioscia at this point does anything to improve the pitchers' performance or team chemistry.

    The pitching is horrible, so the hitters are pressing. The hitters fail, then the pitcher is under the gun. It's a vicious circle. If we can just get a couple of decent pitching performances in a row, win a couple of games, I think the team could build some momentum. Winning is the only thing that's going to make the players happy. Firing the manager will not make the players happy.

    The White House did an internal assessment to determine how much if any political damage would be done if he used the word Terror. The conclusion was the terror attack can be blamed on the Sequester, and by extension, Republicans.

    Angels had a nice rhythm in the middle innings when they were giving up one run per inning but just couldn't maintain it. 1-0-1-1-1-1-0-3-X
