    For anyone going to the Friday game, there is also an Eagles concert at the Honda Center that starts at 8. Friday + playoffs + concert = traffic hell.

    Plus they are compatible with the new state computer based testing. LAUSD had horrible luck with the field test last year. No more scantrons....Woot!

    Our district is rolling out one to one chromebooks to our students in grades 2-8 this year. The students have to have a google account on the district's domain to use them, so no apps can be downloaded to them. They are preloaded with the apps that will be used in the classroom. 6-8 graders get to take them home (ack!)

    Nother, try your local community resources. It might be called the Family Resource Center or something similar. They will be able to find appropriate services (possibly housing, mental health referral, etc) for her and it's probably faster than trying to contact Social Services yourself.

    This is beyond disgusting. I could only picture my 4 year old granddaughter when I read this story. If anyone took a switch to her, I would probably be in jail by the next day.
