I agree with you that it has happened but it happening is the exception and not the rule.

Not to mention that everyone one fully supports him.

My favorite type of "fan" is the one that thinks players stop caring or trying when they get the big contract. The reason these guys all made it to the bigs is because they were so competitive that they outperformed equally talented players.

Here's another one, the starting pitching has looked better the last couple weeks.

My positives are hypothetical as well so here it goes. Won't it be nice to watch the Angels when Weaver, Aybar, Callaspo, Sean Burnett and Ryan Madsen come off the DL. They may not challenge for a championship this year, but with those players healthy they will be better than what we currently have.

Just because it isn't working doesn't mean there isn't a plan. You kept saying all last year that this team needed a left handed impact bat. We got that bat, he just isn't producing, yet. The team decided that Greinke wasn't worth $25 million a year, and not a single one of us would disagree with that. The team has a plan, and that plan for this year was out-scoring teams. But once again it isn't working so you automatically assume there isn't a plan. As LT would say, that is patently false.

This team will get hot just like they always do but I'm not sure it will be enough to compete for a championship. It will be nice to get Aybar and Weaver back.
