Why not just give him Hamilton's money and then use the rest of the budget on the bullpen?     Herm is a good ballplayer. But he's only 22 years old, so plenty of time to be patient. He's progressed quick enough to be treated like a legit prospect, not a filler that you don't have to worry about ruining his development
