  1. Seriously? You're pitching Matt Long as a trade piece?
  2. No rational human being could possibly think that Ian Stewart deserves a spot on a major league roster at this point. Please let this madness end.
  3. What's really odd about this is that they just launched an L.A. version of the Register a few weeks ago. Not sure why they did something like that if their financial situation was so dire.
  4. Congrats on that hit, Albert. You keep your OBP over .300...
  5. Wow. Tons of Georgia guys. Do we now have a scout who's based there or something? It's almost like all of the small Florida college guys Kotchman used to find.
  6. They're not going to overturn this. EDIT: Once again, I hate the new replay rules. A manager can just sit out there until someone tells him whether to challenge. Stupid.
  7. Ugh. Josh...Nice RBI, but boneheaded baserunning there.
  8. Doesn't matter. He K'ed on the next pitch. Way to fight, Al...
  9. Weird play there. Looked like he swung. Not sure the ball hit the bat.
  10. Was it Scotty that claimed Georgia wasn't a great baseball state in the past? I think so...Once again, plenty of Georgia boys being drafted.
  11. Just got home from work. I've been locked away in meetings and on calls all day, even on the drive home. Given the score, and the fact that I see a thread with a title about Trout being injured, is it fair to say that I should just pretend like today didn't happen in the world of the Angels?
  12. This is awful. i've been traveling, and haven't seen an Angels game since Tuesday--and this is what I get as a homecoming present? Thanks.
  13. He has 3 extra base hits in 82 plate appearances as a clean-up hitter.
  14. He does have 18 BB in 18 games started as the clean-up hitter. That gets his OBP all the way up to .305 in that slot. Wheee...
  15. As a pinch-hitter (.364), batting 9th (.375), and with RISP (.281). As a clean-up hitter, he's "hitting" .111 (!!!!).
