Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the investigation still on going? Was there collusion? Maybe maybe not. Who the hell knows at this point? Was it just business deals that had nothing to do with the election? Again maybe, maybe not. What we do know, is those involved (Sessions, Flynn, Kushner, etc) don't seem to like talking about Russia when questioned about it. Whether it is leaving off information on their SF-86's, whether they can remember having conversations and what not, etc. They just need to get this thing going and over with and come out with the results and both side can deal with the aftermath of whatever it is or isn't.

The real question to ask is has Trump proven he's an honest person? Are the people in his administration honest? None of us can verify what he said but when Trump says he's speaking the truth, has he earned that right for us to believe him? For me there is reason to doubt he's honest until he proves otherwise.

He does have the right to declassify stuff. And the ally has the right to no longer share that information if their requests aren't going to be met i.e. don't share this with the Russians. Let's not forget that the source seems to be within a close circle of ISIS. Is there now a danger for said source? Or do we not care?

This is what we know (if I got anything wrong please feel free to correct me). Jeff Sessions said he had never met with Russian officials when the question wasn't about him meeting with them. He has now recused himself from the investigation. Flynn got caught lying about talking with them and was dismissed Jared Kushner (this one was interesting) doesn't disclose on his SF-86 about foreign contacts, some of which are Russians. I deal with SF-86s and I have an extremely hard time believing it was an oversight. There are several pages dedicated to this topic. You don't just miss it. In fact you can be denied a clearance if you falsify anything on your SF-86. Yeah nothing has been established but good grief that's a lot of smoke. If it turns out to be nothing (I have my doubts that there isn't anything shady going on) I can't blame people for thinking that there isn't something suspicious going on behind the scenes.
